Then he will show you a large upstairs room, furnished and ready; get everything ready for us there."

He answered them, "Elijah does come first and gets everything ready, but how is it that the Scripture says about the Son of Man that He will suffer much and be rejected?

He is a voice of one who shouts in the desert, 'Get the road ready for the Lord; make the paths straight for Him.'"

So He told His disciples to keep a little boat ready for Him all the time, to prevent the crowds from crushing Him.

On the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, the usual time for killing the Passover lamb, Jesus' disciples asked Him, "Where do you want us to go and get the Passover supper ready for you to eat?"

So off the disciples went; they reached the city, found everything just as He had told them, and they got the Passover supper ready.
