And after six days Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John, and bringeth them up by themselves to a high mountain apart; and was transfigured before them:
And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
Then said Peter to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: let us make three tabernacles; one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias:
And immediately looking round about, they saw no more of any one, but Jesus alone with them.

when Jesus saw the people flock together, He rebuked the impure spirit, and said to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, Come out of him, and enter no more into him.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no one, that worketh a miracle in my name, and can presently speak evil of me:
And Jesus replied, He wrote this precept on account of your cruel tempers:
Which Jesus observing, was much displeased, and said to them, Let the children come to me; and hinder them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.
And Jesus said unto him, Why dost thou call me good? there is none good, but one, that is God.
Then Jesus looked upon him with affection, and said to him, One thing thou wantest; go, sell all that thou hast, and give it to the poor; and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross and follow me.
And Jesus looking round about saith to his disciples, How difficultly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus repeating it, saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them, that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God!
But Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children,
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed at it, and afraid to follow Him. And again taking the twelve aside, He began to tell them what things should befal Him,
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink of the cup, that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
And they said, We can. And Jesus said unto them, The cup indeed which I drink, ye shall drink of; and with the baptism, that I am baptized with, shall ye be baptized:
But Jesus called them to Him, and said unto them, Ye know that those who rule among the Gentiles, lord it over them, and their grandees exercise authority upon them.
And hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
And Jesus stopt, and ordered him to be called: so they called the blind man, and said to him, Be of good courage, rise up, He calleth thee.
And he threw off his outer garment, and arose, and came to Jesus.
And Jesus said to him, What dost thou desire that I should do for thee? And the blind man said to Him, Lord, that I may recover my sight.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way, thy faith has cured thee. And he immediately recovered his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
And they answered them as Jesus had ordered, and they permitted them.
So they brought the colt to Jesus, and laid their garments on it, and He sat upon it.
And Jesus went into Jerusalem, and into the temple; and when He had looked round upon every thing, it being now late in the day, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
and seeing a fig-tree at a distance, with leaves, He went to see if He might find any thing upon it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves; (for the time of gathering figs was not yet come:) And Jesus spake and said unto it,
Then they came to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to turn out those that sold and bought in the court of the temple, and threw down the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves:
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God: for verily I tell you,
But Jesus said to them, I also will ask you one question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
and they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus replied and said unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Render then unto Cesar the things that are Cesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at Him.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is the one Lord,
And Jesus seeing that he answered discreetly, said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared any more to put questions to Him.

And as Jesus was sitting over against the treasury, He saw how the people threw money into the treasury, and many of the rich put in much;
And Jesus answering said unto him, Thou seest these grand buildings: but there shall not be left one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down.
But Jesus answered them and said, Beware least any one deceive you:
But Jesus said, Let her alone, why do ye give her uneasiness?
And when they were sat down and eating together, Jesus said, Verily I tell you, that one of you will betray me, who is now eating with me.
And as they were at table, Jesus took bread, and when He had blessed it He brake it, and gave it to them, and said, Take, eat, This is my body:
And Jesus saith unto them, Ye will all of you be made to offend on my account this night; for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered:
And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I tell thee, that to day, even in this very night, before the cock crow twice thou wilt deny me thrice.
And Jesus said unto them, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and clubs to take me?
And they led Jesus away to the high priest, with whom were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
Now the chief priests and all the council sought for evidence against Jesus, to put Him to death, and found none:
Then the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus saying, Answerest thou nothing? what do these men witness against thee?
And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
and when she saw Peter as he was warming himself, she looked earnestly upon him and said, Thou also wast with Jesus the Nazarene:
Then Peter called to mind the word which Jesus had said to him, Before the cock crow twice thou wilt deny me thrice. And he covered his face and wept.
And as soon as ever it was light the chief priests holding a consultation with the elders and scribes, they and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus, and carried Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.
but Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate was amazed.
So Pilate being willing to ingratiate with the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered Him up to be crucified.

And when He was in one of the cities of that country, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus, fell prostrate to Him, and besought Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me.
And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, I will; be thou cleansed: and immediately the leprosy departed from him.
but when they could not find what way to bring him in because of the croud, they went up on the battlements of the house, and let him down from the roof with his couch, into the midst before Jesus,

And they were filled with confusion: and consulted together, what they might do to Jesus.
and having heard of Jesus, he sent unto Him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that He would come and heal his servant.
And when they came to Jesus, they intreated Him earnestly, saying, he is worthy of this favor:
So Jesus went with them. And when He was now not far from the house, the centurion sent some of his friends to Him, saying Lord, trouble not thyself, for I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter under my roof:
And when Jesus heard these things, He marvelled, and turning about, said to the multitude that followed Him, I declare unto you, I have not found so great faith, no not in Israel.
and sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou He that was to come, or are we to expect another?
And Jesus answering said unto them, Go and tell John what ye have seen and heard: that the blind recover sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them,
And Jesus said unto him, Simon, I have something to say to thee: (and he replied, Master, say on.)
And Simon answered, I suppose he to whom he forgave most. And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged:
But when he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down to Him, and said with a loud voice, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I beseech thee, do not torment me.
And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? and he said, Legion: because many demons were entred into him.
and the people went out to see what was done, and came to Jesus; and found the man, from whom the demons were gone out, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind:
Now the man from whom the demons were gone out, prayed Him to let him be with Him: but Jesus sent him away,
saying, Return home, and relate what God hath done for thee. So he went away publishing through the whole city what great things Jesus had done to him.
And when Jesus returned, a great multitude of people received Him; for they were all waiting for Him.
And behold there came a man whose name was Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, and he fell at the feet of Jesus, and intreated Him to come into his house:
