Now Solomon decided to build a house (temple) for the Name of the Lord, and a royal palace for himself.

He erected the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right, the other on the left, and named the one on the right Jachin (may He establish) and the one on the left Boaz (in Him is strength).

And he made ten golden lampstands just as directed and set them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left.
