So humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, so that he may exalt you in due time. Cast all your care upon him, for he ever cares for you.







who discourage marriage, and enjoin abstinence from foods which God created to be received with thankfulness, by those who believe, and have a clear knowledge of the truth. For everything that God has created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if only it is received with thankfulness. For it is sanctified by the Word of God and by prayer.

While he was still speaking men came from the house of the warden of the synagogue to tell him, "Your daughter is dead, why trouble the Teacher any further?" But Jesus, paying no attention to the remark, said to the warden of the synagogue, "Have no fear, only believe."

"but sorrow has filled your hearts because I have told you these things. "Yet?? am telling you the truth??y going is for your good. For unless I go away the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart I will send him unto you.
