and one with deceitful speech will fall into ruin.

malicious thoughts within you?

David’s oldest brother Eliab listened as he spoke to the men, and became angry with him. “Why did you come down here?” he asked. “Who did you leave those few sheep with in the wilderness? I know your arrogance and your evil heart—you came down to see the battle!”


Because the sentence against a criminal act is not carried out quickly, the heart of people is filled with the desire to commit crime.

The Lord hates six things;
in fact, seven are detestable to Him:



I know, my God, that You test the heart and that You are pleased with what is right. I have willingly given all these things with an upright heart, and now I have seen Your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to You.
