And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the hole of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And when his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? read more.

And Jesus having looked around, he says to his disciples, How difficultly those who have riches will enter into the kingdom of God. And the disciples were astonished at his words. But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah. Be not thou afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased. For when he dies he shall carry nothing away. His glory shall not descend after him. Though while he lived he blessed his soul (and men praise thee, when thou do well for thyself), he shall go to the generation of his fathers. They shall never see the light. A man who is in splendor, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.
