Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.



My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad, even mine: yes, my heart will rejoice, when your lips speak what is right.

The father of the righteous has great joy. Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him. Let your father and your mother be glad. Let her who bore you rejoice.

The king of Israel answered, "Tell him, 'Do not let him who puts on his armor brag like he who takes it off.'"








Who is among you who fears the LORD, who obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely on his God.

Who is like you, LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.
