Gray hair is a crown of glory when it is found in the way of righteousness.

Aged men should be temperate, serious, sound in mind, sound in faith, in love, and in endurance. Aged women likewise should be reverent in behavior and teachers of that which is good. They should not be slanderers nor enslaved to too much wine.
Do not rebuke (censure) (criticize) an elder, but appeal to him as a father, the younger men as brothers. Treat the elder women as mothers, the younger as sisters, with much honor.
And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare your strength to this generation, your power to all who are to come.
Jehovah has kept me alive, as he said, these forty-five years, even since Jehovah spoke this word to Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness. Now I am this day eighty-five years old.
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his vigor abated.
As for yourself, you shall go to your ancestors in peace. You shall be buried at a good old age.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you are going.

Honor your father and your mother, as Jehovah your God commands you and your days will be prolonged and things will go well with you, in the land Jehovah gives you.
