18 Bible Verses about All Authority Has Been Given To Jesus

Then Jesus came forward to them and said, "Full authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth;

above all the angelic Rulers, Authorities, Powers, and Lords, above every Name that is to be named not only in this age but in the age to come ??22 he has put everything under his feet and set him as head over everything for the church,

Then Jesus came forward to them and said, "Full authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth; go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the holy Spirit, and teach them to obey all the commands I have laid on you. And I will be with you all the time, to the very end of the world."

All has been handed over to me by my Father: and no one knows the Son except the Father ??nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Therefore God raised him high and conferred on him a Name above all names,

it is in him that you reach your full life, and he is the Head of every angelic Ruler and Power;

go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the holy Spirit,

who is at God's right hand ??for he went to heaven after angels, authorities, and powers celestial had been made subject to him.)

the Father loves the Son and has given him control over everything.

which he exerted in raising Christ from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavenly sphere,

When they saw him they worshipped him, though some were in doubt.

since thou hast granted him power over all flesh to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given to him.

Then comes the end, when he hands over his royal power to God the Father, after putting down all other rulers, all other authorities and powers.

so that before the Name of Jesus every knee should bend in heaven, on earth, and underneath the earth,

Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me, unless it had been granted you from above. So you are less guilty than he who betrayed me to you."

Jesus said to him, "Even so! But I tell you, in future you will all see the Son of man seated at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."

He who comes from above is far above all others; he who springs from earth belongs to earth and speaks of earth; he who comes from heaven [is far above all others.

He is the likeness of the unseen God, born first before all the creation ??16 for it was by him that all things were created both in heaven and on earth, both the seen and the unseen, including Thrones, angelic Lords, celestial Powers and Rulers; all things have been created by him and for him; he is prior to all, and all coheres in him. Also, he is the head of the Body, that is, of the church, in virtue of his primacy as the first to be born from the dead ??that gives him pre-eminence over all.
