Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the earth and of the sky: how do ye not discern this season?

And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
Then he said to them, O foolish, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Jesus saith to him, Have I been so long with you, and hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father: and how sayest thou, Shew us the Father?
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

Then the disciples said, Lord, if he sleep, he will recover. Jesus spake of his death, but they thought he had spoken of the natural rest in sleep.
If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever, and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews then debated among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
