His maker shall take him by the weakness of his eyes in a snare, and pierce through his nose.

Therefore this people is robbed and spoiled; all of them shall be snared in holes and hid in prison houses; they shall be for a prey, and no one delivers; for a spoil, and no one saith, Restore.

They search out iniquities; they perfect and put into effect that which they have invented in the inward thought of each one of them and that which they have devised in their heart.

there is perversion in his heart; he devises evil continually; he sows discord.

Deceit is in the heart of those whose thoughts are evil, but joy in that of those whose thoughts are good.

The man of Belial digs in search of evil, and in his lips there is as a burning fire. The perverse man sows strife, and the tale bearer separates princes. The evil man flatters his neighbour and leads him into the way that is not good.read more.
He shuts his eyes to devise perverse things; moving his lips he brings evil to pass.

Those that seek after my life lay snares for me, and those that seek my hurt speak calamities and imagine deceits all the day long.

For they intended evil against thee; they imagined a wicked device, but they did not prevail.

Therefore they have consulted together with one consent; they are confederate against thee:

Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet they imagine evil against me.

He has come out of thee that has imagined evil against the LORD, a counsellor of Belial.

Then the Pharisees left and took counsel how they might entangle him in his word.

But Jesus perceived their wickedness and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

Shall we give or shall we not give? Then he, understanding their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me the coin that I may see it.

And as they ate, he said, Verily I say unto you that one of you shall betray me.

And as the Pharisees went forth, they took counsel with the Herodians against him, to kill him.

And they could not take hold of his words before the people, and they marvelled at his answer and were silent.

This they said, tempting him, that they might be able to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down and with his finger wrote on the ground.

Judas then, taking a company of soldiers and ministers of the high priests and of the Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

The watchman of Ephraim regarding my God, the prophet, is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, hatred in the house of his God.

And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles and also of the Jews with their princes, to insult them and to stone them,

and there abode three months. And when the Jews laid in wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he took counsel to return through Macedonia.

That we no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive,

Whosoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit, but the perfect shall inherit every good thing.

The steps of his strength shall be cut down, and his own counsel shall cast him down. For a net shall be cast at his feet, and he shall walk upon a network. The snare shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.read more.
The cord is hidden in the ground and a trap for him in the way.

The LORD is known by the judgment which he has executed; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion (meditate on this for ever). Selah.
