Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants in obedience, his servants ye are whom ye obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's free-man: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it; but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

Doth he thank that servant, because he did the things that were commanded him? I suppose not.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast-away.
And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not depart free:
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
