Count it all joy, my brethren, when you may fall into manifold temptations. Knowing that the trial of your faith works out endurance.

No temptation has overtaken you, except that which is human: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation, He will also make a way of escape, in order that you may be able to bear it.

Blessed are they, who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for the kingdom of the heavens is theirs. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, coming upon you unto your testing: as some strange thing happening to you: but as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; in order that you may also rejoice in the revelation of his glory, being glad.
