Bid her therefore help me. But Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha! Thou art careful and hurried about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from her.
When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him; but Mary sat in the house.
After the two days, he departed thence, and went into Galilee. (Now Jesus himself had testified, That a prophet hath not honour in his own country.) And when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast. For they also had come to the feast.read more.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had had no small contention and debate with them, they determined, that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them, should go up to the apostles and elders at Jerusalem about this question.

But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be condemned.
Now I trust in the Lord Jesus, to send Timotheus to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged, when I know your state.
And after certain days Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go again and visit the brethren in every city, where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. And Barnabas counselled, to take with them John, surnamed Mark. But Paul thought it not right to take with them him, who had departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.read more.
And there was a sharp contention, so that they parted from each other; and Barnabas taking Mark with him, sailed away to Cyprus; But Paul having chose Silas, departed, being recommended by the brethren to the grace of God. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
After these things were ended, Paul purposed in spirit, having passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must see Rome also.
But now having no longer place in these parts, and having had a great desire for many years to come to you, Whenever I go into Spain, I will come to you; for I hope to see you as I pass by, and to be brought forward by you in my way thither, if first I may be somewhat satisfied with your company. But I am now going to Jerusalem, serving the saints. For it hathread more.
pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a collection for the poor of the saints that are in Jerusalem. It hath pleased them, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have partook of their spiritual things, they ought to minister to them in carnal things. When therefore I have performed this, and sealed to them this fruit, I will go by you into Spain. And I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
Now I will come to you, when I have passed through Macedonia, (for I pass through Macedonia) And perhaps I may stay, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me forward on my journey, whithersoever I go.
And in this confidence I was minded to come to you before, that ye might have had a second benefit, And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come to you again from Macedonia, and to be brought forward by you in my way toward Judea.
But I determined this with myself not to come to you again in grief.
Forgive me this wrong. Behold the third time I am ready to come to you: yet I will not be burdensom to you; for I seek not yours, but you; for the children ought not to lay up treasure for the parents, but the parents for the children.
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance to you, that it was not in vain: But even after we had suffered before,
When I shall send Artemas or Tychicus to thee, be diligent to come to me to Nicopolis; for I have determined to winter there.
And the brethren having heard of us, came out thence to meet us, some as far as Appii Forum, and others to the Three Taverns, whom when Paul saw, he thanked God and took courage.
Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and companion in labour and fellow-soldier, but your messenger, and him that ministered to my need.
The Lord give mercy to the family of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain: But when he was at Rome, he sought me out very diligently and found me.
Do thy diligence to come to me shortly. For Demas hath forsaken me, loving the present world, and is gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with thee, for he is profitable to me for service.read more.
Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. When thou comest, bring the cloak which I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.
Remember them that are in bonds, as being bound with them, and them that suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
Forget not to entertain strangers, for hereby some have entertained angels unawares.
