And the rich man also died, and was buried; and in Hades, lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And, crying, he said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; because I am in anguish in this flame!' But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that, in your lifetime, you received in full your good things, and Lazarus, likewise, evil things; but now here he is comforted, and you are in anguish. And, in all these things, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed; so that those wishing to cross from hence to you cannot; nor do they pass from thence to us.' And he said, 'I pray you, therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house; for I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.' But Abraham says, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' But he said, 'Nay, father Abraham; but, if one go to them from the dead, they will repent.' But he said to him, 'If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rose from the dead.'"

Your gold and silver are covered with rust, and their rust will be for a witness against you, and will eat your flesh, as fire. Ye laid up treasures in the last days!

And, looking around, Jesus saith to His disciples, "With what difficulty shall those who have riches enter into the Kingdom of God!" And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus, again answering, saith to them, "Children, how difficult it is [for those who trust in riches] to enter into the Kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God." read more.
And they were being exceedingly astonished, saying to Him, "And who can be saved?" Jesus, looking upon them, saith, "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God."
And Jesus, seeing him, said, "With what difficulty do those having riches enter into the Kingdom of God! for it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God." And those hearing it said, "And who can be saved?" read more.
