'Long' in the Bible
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
I am exhausted as I groan; all night long I drench my bed in tears; my tears saturate the cushion beneath me.
"Because of [the] oppression of [the] afflicted, because of [the] groaning of [the] poor, now I will rise up," Yahweh says. "I shall put [them] in [the] safety [for which] they long."

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
He asked life from you, and you gave it to him a long life for ever and ever.

How long, LORD, will I wait expectantly? I have placed my hope in you.

Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence;They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah.
How blessed are those who find their strength in you, and long to travel the roads that lead to your temple!
Will you go on being angry with us for ever? will you keep your wrath against us through all the long generations?
Be gracious to me, Lord,for I call to You all day long.
