with 1,200 chariots and 60,000 horsemen. The people who came with him from Egypt were beyond counting—the Lubim, the Sukkiim, and the Ethiopians.

These came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah.The number of the men of the people of Israel:

They celebrated the Feast of Booths, as it is written, and offered the fixed number of daily burnt offerings, in accordance with the ordinances, as each day required;

They offered at the dedication of this house of God 100 bulls, 200 rams, 400 lambs, and, as a sin offering for all Israel, 12 male goats, according to the number of Israel’s tribes.

So teach us to number our days,That we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom.

When there were only a few men in number,Very few [in fact], and strangers in it;

He spoke, and the [migratory] locusts came,And the young locusts, even without number,

If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand.When I awake, I am still with You.

Horsemen charging,Swords flashing, spears gleaming,Many slain, a mass of corpses,No end of corpses—The horsemen stumble over the corpses!
