'Talking' in the Bible
How can you fail to understand that I wasn't talking to you about bread? Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!"
Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus.
When the high priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they knew that he was talking about them.
But he denied it in front of them all. "I don't know what you're talking about!" he exclaimed.
Then Elijah appeared to them, accompanied by Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
But he denied it, saying, "I don't know or even understand what you're talking about!" Then he went out into the entryway. Just then a rooster crowed.
Then he began to invoke a divine curse and to swear with an oath, "I don't know this man you're talking about!"
So the Lord Jesus, after talking with his disciples, was taken up to heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
Suddenly, two men were talking with him. They were Moses and Elijah.
Now while some people were talking about the Temple how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts dedicated to God he said,
But Peter said, "Mister, I don't know what you're talking about!" Just then, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
They were talking with each other about all these things that had taken place.
Then they asked each other, "Our hearts kept burning within us as he was talking to us on the road and explaining the Scriptures to us, didn't they?"
While they were all talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and told them, "Peace be with you."
Truly, I tell you emphatically, we know what we're talking about, and we testify about what we've seen. Yet you people do not accept our testimony.
At this point his disciples arrived, and they were astonished that he was talking to a woman. Yet no one said, "What do you want from her?" or, "Why are you talking to her?"
They didn't realize that he was talking to them about the Father.
Jesus told him, "You have seen him. He is the person who is talking with you."
I'm not talking about all of you. I know the ones I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: "The one who ate bread with me has turned against me.'
They kept saying, "What is this "in a little while' that he keeps talking about? We don't know what he means."
for we cannot stop talking about what we've seen and heard."
The eunuch asked Philip, "I ask you, who is the prophet talking about? Himself? Or someone else?"
He kept talking and arguing with the Hellenistic Jews, but they were bent on murdering him.
When the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who kept talking to them and urging them to continue in the grace of God.
There they kept talking about the good news.

But if our unrighteousness serves to confirm God's righteousness, what can we say? God is not unrighteous when he vents his wrath on us, is he? (I am talking in human terms.)
I am talking to sensible people. Apply what I am saying to yourselves.
For the person who speaks in a foreign language is not actually speaking to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands him, because he is talking about secrets by the Spirit.
In the same way, unless you speak an intelligible message with your language, how will anyone know what is being said? You'll be talking into the air!
When I talk as a confident boaster, I am not talking with the Lord's authority but like a fool.
I am ashamed to admit it, but we have been too weak for that. Whatever anyone else dares to claim I am talking like a fool I can claim it, too.
This is a great secret, but I am talking about the Messiah and the church.
