'Whole' in the Bible
If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to go into hell!
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light within you is darkness—how deep is that darkness!
“Go!” He told them. So when they had come out, they entered the pigs. And suddenly the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.
At that, the whole town went out to meet Jesus. When they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout that whole area.
Such large crowds gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat down, while the whole crowd stood on the shore.
When the men of that place recognized Him, they alerted the whole vicinity and brought to Him all who were sick.
What will it benefit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
When He entered Jerusalem, the whole city was shaken, saying, “Who is this?”
I assure you: Wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told in memory of her.”
The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false testimony against Jesus so they could put Him to death.
Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into headquarters and gathered the whole company around Him.
From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over the whole land.
The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem were flocking to him, and they were baptized by him in the Jordan River as they confessed their sins.
Then Jesus went out again beside the sea. The whole crowd was coming to Him, and He taught them.

For what does it benefit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his life?
All of a sudden, when the whole crowd saw Him, they were amazed and ran to greet Him.
Then the chief priests and the scribes heard it and started looking for a way to destroy Him. For they were afraid of Him, because the whole crowd was astonished by His teaching.
I assure you: Wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told in memory of her.”
The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but they could find none.
As soon as it was morning, the chief priests had a meeting with the elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin. After tying Jesus up, they led Him away and handed Him over to Pilate.
Then the soldiers led Him away into the courtyard (that is, headquarters) and called the whole company together.
When it was noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
Then He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
At the hour of incense the whole assembly of the people was praying outside.
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole empire should be registered.
The whole crowd was trying to touch Him, because power was coming out from Him and healing them all.
What is a man benefited if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits himself?
Your eye is the lamp of the body. When your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light. But when it is bad, your body is also full of darkness.
If, therefore, your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be entirely illuminated, as when a lamp shines its light on you.”
When He had said these things, all His adversaries were humiliated, but the whole crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things He was doing.
Now He came near the path down the Mount of Olives, and the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:
like a trap. For it will come on all who live on the face of the whole earth.

When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came across a sorcerer, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus.
The following Sabbath almost the whole town assembled to hear the message of the Lord.
So the message of the Lord spread through the whole region.
Then the whole assembly fell silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul describing all the signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.
Then the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, decided to select men who were among them and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas, called Barsabbas, and Silas, both leading men among the brothers.
Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed the Lord, along with his whole household. Many of the Corinthians, when they heard, believed and were baptized.
You both see and hear that not only in Ephesus, but in almost all of Asia, this man Paul has persuaded and misled a considerable number of people by saying that gods made by hand are not gods!
So not only do we run a risk that our business may be discredited, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis may be despised and her magnificence come to the verge of ruin—the very one all of Asia and the world adore.”
And when they came to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day I set foot in Asia, how I was with you the whole time—
for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.
As the seven days were about to end, the Jews from Asia saw him in the temple complex, stirred up the whole crowd, and seized him,
The whole city was stirred up, and the people rushed together. They seized Paul, dragged him out of the temple complex, and at once the gates were shut.
as both the high priest and the whole council of elders can testify about me. After I received letters from them to the brothers, I traveled to Damascus to bring those who were prisoners there to be punished in Jerusalem.

Then he stayed two whole years in his own rented house. And he welcomed all who visited him,
Now we know that whatever the law says speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.
For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.
Now if the firstfruits offered up are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus greet you.
Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast permeates the whole batch of dough?

He doesn’t hold on to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and held together by its ligaments and tendons, develops with growth from God.

After He says above, You did not want or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings (which are offered according to the law),
for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.
Now when we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we also guide the whole animal.
And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among the parts of our bodies. It pollutes the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is set on fire by hell.
He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one.
Because you have kept My command to endure, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come over the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
So the great dragon was thrown out—the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.
One of his heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but his fatal wound was healed. The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.
For they are spirits of demons performing signs, who travel to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for the battle of the great day of God, the Almighty.
