Romans 10:5-13

Moses writes down the righteousness that is of the law. The man who has practiced those things shall live by them. But the righteousness of faith speaks this way: Do not say in your heart: 'who will ascend to heaven? That is, to bring Christ down; or 'who will descend into the abyss? But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. It is the word of faith, which we preach. Acts 13:38-39

You should know, men and brothers that it is through this man Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him all who believe are justified from all things. You could not be justified through the Law of Moses.

Matthew 6:19-24

Do not accumulate large amounts of wealth on earth. This is where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. Accumulate wealth in heaven where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Your heart will be where you keep your wealth.read more.
The eyes are like a lamp for the body. If your eye is clear (simple) (focused) (single minded), your whole body will be full of [spiritual] light. But if your eye is wicked, your body will be in darkness. If that light in you is really darkness, how great a darkness it must be. You cannot serve two masters. You will hate one and love the other. Luke 11:34-36

The lamp of your body is your eye. When your eye is clear your entire body is full of light. When it is evil your body is full of darkness. Make sure the light that is in you is not darkness. If your entire body is full of light and has no darkness you will have no part of the dark. Just as a lamp when shinning brightly gives plenty of light.

Ask and it will be given you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you. Everyone who asks receives. Everyone who seeks finds, and everyone who knocks will have it opened. Who among you, who would give his son a stone when he asks him for bread?read more.
Who will give him a serpent when he asks for a fish? Even though you are a sinner, you know how to give good gifts to your children. Think how much more your Father in heaven gives good things to those who ask him! Do for others the same as you would have them to do for you. That is the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.

Luke 6:47-49

Mark 4:10-12

When he was alone his followers including the twelve asked about the illustrations. He told them: The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you. Illustrations are spoken to outsiders. So that seeing they may see and not perceive. And hearing they may hear and not understand. Otherwise they might repent and be forgiven.

You obstinate men who are uncircumcised in heart and ears. You always resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did. Which of the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? If any man hears my sayings and does not obey them I will not judge him. I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me and does not accept my message has one that judges him. The word (divine expression) (God's Word) that I spoke shall judge him now and in the last day. Hebrews 6:4-6

Those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the age to come, if they shall fall away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance. This is because they personally impale the Son of God again, and expose him to public shame.

Be careful, then, and do not refuse to hear him who speaks. Those who refused to hear the one who gave the divine message on earth did not escape. How much less shall we escape then, if we turn away from the one who speaks from heaven!

These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the gloom of darkness has been reserved. The crowd and the rulers of the city were troubled when they heard these things. They made Jason post bond and they let them go.

Acts 8:1-3

Saul agreed to his death. There was at that time a great persecution against the congregation at Jerusalem. All but the apostles were scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria.
