I have chosen and declared this Temple holy so that my name may be placed there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

Jehovah said: I have heard your prayers and your supplication you made. I have made this house holy. I put my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there at all times.

Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them in six days. He rested on the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

As God's chosen, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness (humility), meekness (mildness), and long-suffering (patience).

You who are chosen and foreknown by God the Father. You have been sanctified by the Spirit to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with his blood. Grace and peace be greatly increased to you.

It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before Jehovah. That is where I will meet with you to speak to you. I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by my glory.

Moses said to Jehovah: The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai for you warned us. You said: 'Put limits around the mountain and set it apart as holy.'

When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offerings and the other sacrifices, and Jehovah's glory filled the Temple. The priests could not go into Jehovah's Temple because Jehovah's glory had filled it.

If you will obey me and are faithful to the terms of my covenant, then out of all the nations you will be my own special possession, for all the earth is mine. You will be my kingdom of priests and my holy nation. These are the words you must speak to the children of Israel.'

Jehovah will establish you as a holy people to himself. He swore this to you, if you obey the commandments of Jehovah your God and walk in His ways.

I will promise them peace. This will be a long lasting promise. I will establish them and make them increase in number. I will put my holy place among them for a very long time. My dwelling place will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I, Jehovah, have set Israel apart as holy, because my holy place will be among them permanently.'

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a people for God's own possession, that you may show the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

May the very God of peace completely sanctify you (make you holy). I pray to God that your entire spiritual being, your mind and body, is preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Obey my laws, because I am Jehovah and I make you holy.

It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy along with everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. Moses went down from the mountain to the people. He consecrated the people, and they washed their garments.

A man who is clean will collect the ashes from the cow and put them in a clean place outside the camp. They will be kept by the congregation of Israel and used in the water that takes away uncleanness. The cow is an offering for sin.

The priests and the Levites made themselves clean; and they made the people clean, and the gateways and the wall.

The Levites will place their hands on the heads of the young bulls. Sacrifice one of them as an offering for sin and the other one as a burnt offering to Jehovah. These sacrifices will pay compensation for wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for the Levites. Make the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons, and present them as an offering to Jehovah. In this way you will separate the Levites from the other Israelites. The Levites will be mine.

Do to Aaron and to his sons all that I have commanded you. Ordain them for seven days. Offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement each day. Purify the altar when you make atonement for it. Anoint it to consecrate it. Make atonement for the altar and consecrate it for seven days. Then the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

Moses brought the young bull for the sin offering. Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head. Moses killed it and took some of the blood. Using his finger he put it on the projections at the corners of the altar, in order to dedicate it. He then poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. In this way he dedicated it and purified it.

He will take two male goats from the congregation of Israel as an offering for sin and a ram as a burnt offering. Aaron must sacrifice the bull as his own offering for sin. By doing this, he will pay compensation for wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for himself and his family. He must take the two male goats and bring them into Jehovah's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.read more.
I will show Aaron which goat will be sacrificed to me and which one will be sent into the desert to the demon Azazel. After he offers the first goat as a sacrifice for sin, the other one must be presented to me alive, before he sends it into the desert to take away the sins of the people.

Moses took the anointing oil to anoint the tent and everything in it and dedicate them. He sprinkled the altar seven times. He anointed the altar; it's utensils, the washbasin and its pedestal. This made them holy. He also poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to set him apart for his holy duties.

Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his clothes and on his sons and their clothes. He, his sons, and their clothes will then be dedicated to me.

Then dedicate the Tabernacle and all its equipment by anointing it with the sacred oil, and it will be holy.

We are sanctified by his will through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it. This is so he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word. So he will be able to present the congregation to himself as a glorious congregation, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It should be holy and without blemish.

But he (Christ) reconciled you in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and without accusation before Him (God).

God's Son is the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his being. He sustains all things by his powerful word. After Jesus purged our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes from the burning of a young cow, sprinkled on the unclean made them outwardly clean. The blood of Christ did even more. Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself without blemish to God and cleansed your conscience from dead works. Now we can serve (worship) the living God.

With one offering he has perfected those who are sanctified forever.

Jesus suffered outside the gate that he might sanctify the people through his own blood.

If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

He is the propitiation (Greek: hilasmos: atonement, compensation) for our sins. Not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (atonement) (sacrificial payment) for our sins.

Shecaniah, the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answering, said to Ezra, We have done evil against our God, and have taken as our wives strange women of the peoples of the land. But still there is hope for Israel in this question. Let us make an agreement with our God to put away all the wives and all their children, if it seems right to my lord and to those who go in fear of the words of our God. Consider yourselves to be dead with reference to sin, but alive with reference to God through Christ Jesus. Let no sin rule in your mortal body, that you should obey the lustful desires. Also do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness for God.

Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded (uncertain) (doubter) (skeptic).

For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

It reveals the righteousness of God from faith-to-faith for it is written: The righteous shall live by faith. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

You have purified your hearts by obeying the truth. You have genuine affection for the brothers and sisters. So always love one another intensely (extremely) (deeply) from the heart.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to your word.

Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.

Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient servants you are his (voluntary) servants because you obey him? This could be obedience to sin with death in view or obedience to righteousness with holiness in view? But thanks to God, that you were the servants of sin yet you became obedient from the heart to the teachings delivered to you. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. You once presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to sin. Now you present your members as servants to righteousness and sanctification (purification) (holiness).
