I have chosen and declared this Temple holy so that my name may be placed there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

Jehovah will establish you as a holy people to himself. He swore this to you, if you obey the commandments of Jehovah your God and walk in His ways.
I will promise them peace. This will be a long lasting promise. I will establish them and make them increase in number. I will put my holy place among them for a very long time. My dwelling place will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I, Jehovah, have set Israel apart as holy, because my holy place will be among them permanently.'

The priests and the Levites made themselves clean; and they made the people clean, and the gateways and the wall.
The Levites will place their hands on the heads of the young bulls. Sacrifice one of them as an offering for sin and the other one as a burnt offering to Jehovah. These sacrifices will pay compensation for wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for the Levites. Make the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons, and present them as an offering to Jehovah. In this way you will separate the Levites from the other Israelites. The Levites will be mine.
Do to Aaron and to his sons all that I have commanded you. Ordain them for seven days. Offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement each day. Purify the altar when you make atonement for it. Anoint it to consecrate it. Make atonement for the altar and consecrate it for seven days. Then the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy.
Moses brought the young bull for the sin offering. Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head. Moses killed it and took some of the blood. Using his finger he put it on the projections at the corners of the altar, in order to dedicate it. He then poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. In this way he dedicated it and purified it.
He will take two male goats from the congregation of Israel as an offering for sin and a ram as a burnt offering. Aaron must sacrifice the bull as his own offering for sin. By doing this, he will pay compensation for wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for himself and his family. He must take the two male goats and bring them into Jehovah's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.read more.
I will show Aaron which goat will be sacrificed to me and which one will be sent into the desert to the demon Azazel. After he offers the first goat as a sacrifice for sin, the other one must be presented to me alive, before he sends it into the desert to take away the sins of the people.
Moses took the anointing oil to anoint the tent and everything in it and dedicate them. He sprinkled the altar seven times. He anointed the altar; it's utensils, the washbasin and its pedestal. This made them holy. He also poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to set him apart for his holy duties.
Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his clothes and on his sons and their clothes. He, his sons, and their clothes will then be dedicated to me.
Then dedicate the Tabernacle and all its equipment by anointing it with the sacred oil, and it will be holy.
We are sanctified by his will through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it. This is so he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word. So he will be able to present the congregation to himself as a glorious congregation, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It should be holy and without blemish.
But he (Christ) reconciled you in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and without accusation before Him (God).

While Ezra was saying his prayer and his confession of wrongdoing he wept and fell down before the house of God. A very great number of men and women and children out of Israel came together around him, for the people were weeping bitterly. Shecaniah, the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answering, said to Ezra, We have done evil against our God, and have taken as our wives strange women of the peoples of the land. But still there is hope for Israel in this question. Let us make an agreement with our God to put away all the wives and all their children, if it seems right to my lord and to those who go in fear of the words of our God. Consider yourselves to be dead with reference to sin, but alive with reference to God through Christ Jesus. Let no sin rule in your mortal body, that you should obey the lustful desires. Also do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness for God.
Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded (uncertain) (doubter) (skeptic).
For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
It reveals the righteousness of God from faith-to-faith for it is written: The righteous shall live by faith. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.
You have purified your hearts by obeying the truth. You have genuine affection for the brothers and sisters. So always love one another intensely (extremely) (deeply) from the heart.
Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.
Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient servants you are his (voluntary) servants because you obey him? This could be obedience to sin with death in view or obedience to righteousness with holiness in view? But thanks to God, that you were the servants of sin yet you became obedient from the heart to the teachings delivered to you. After being made free from sin, you became servants of righteousness.read more.
I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. You once presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to sin. Now you present your members as servants to righteousness and sanctification (purification) (holiness).
