From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

So Judas immediately went up to Jesus and said, "Hello, Rabbi!" and kissed him tenderly.
Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
So Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
When they heard this, they were delighted and promised to give him money. So Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray him.
And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
Now the one who turned Him over to the Jewish leaders [i.e., Judas] had given them a signal, saying, "Whoever I give a kiss [of greeting] to, he is the one; arrest him and lead him away under guard."

and Matthew and Thomas; and James, son of Alphaeus, and Simon, who was called Zealot; and Judas, son of James,
And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Judas accepted their offer and began to look for a good opportunity to betray Jesus to them when no crowd was present.
And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
(Now Judas said this not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief. As keeper of the money box, he used to steal what was put into it.)
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
After [Judas had taken] the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him,
For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
After Judas had gone out, Jesus said, "The Son of Man is now glorified, and God has been glorified by him.
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
I protected them while I was with them by [the power of] your name which you gave me. [See verse 11]. I guarded them so that not one of them was lost except the "son of destruction" [i.e., Judas]. [This was] so that the Scripture would be fulfilled [Psa. 41:9 ?].
When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with his disciples over the brook Kedron; where there was a garden, into which He entred, and his disciples. Now Judas who was gone to betray Him,
And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
And in those days Peter standing up in the midst of the brothers, said??he multitude together was about a hundred and twenty??16 Men and brothers, it was necessary that the Scripture should be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David, concerning Judas who became a guide to them that apprehended Jesus;

And it is known unto all the inhabiters of Jerusalem. Insomuch that that field is called in their mother tongue, Akeldama, that is to say the blood field. Wherefore of these men which have companied with us - all the time that the Lord Jesus went out and in among us, beginning at the baptism of John unto that same day that he was taken up from us - must one be ordained to bear witness with us of his resurrection." And they appointed two: Joseph called Barsabbas, whose surname was Justus, and Matthias. And they prayed, saying, "Thou Lord which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether thou hast chosen of these two, that the one may take the room of this ministration, and apostleship from the which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place."

Then was fulfilled, that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "And they took thirty silver plates, the price of him that was valued, whom they bought of the children of Israel, and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me."
Ye call me 'Master' and 'Lord,' and ye say well, for so am I. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet: ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily I say unto you, the servant is not greater than his master; Neither the messenger greater than he that sent him. If ye understand these things, happy are ye if ye do them. "I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: But that the scripture be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
I have glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now glorify me, thou father, with thine own self, with the glory which I had with thee yer the world was. "I have declared thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy sayings. Now have they known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me, are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them, and know surely that I came out from thee: and do believe that thou didst send me.
