And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,

And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God, to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin of the house of David, espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, and the virgin's name was Mary.

Yet to none of these was Elijah sent, but to Sarepta, a city of Sidon, to a widow. And many lepers were in Israel, in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet none of them was healed, but Naaman the Syrian. And all in the synagogue hearing these things, were filled with fury, And rising up, thrust him out of the city, and brought him to the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, to cast him down headlong. But he passing thro' the midst of them, went away.


And Nathanael saith to him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith to him, Come and see.
