And multitudes also of the cities round about, came together to Jerusalem, bringing persons sick and troubled by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.

And Peter said to him, Eneas, Jesus Christ healeth thee. Arise and make thy bed.

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet.

And this she did for many days. But Paul being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ, to go out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works which I do, shall he do also; and greater than these shall he do, because I go to my Father.

And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief. For verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustardseed, ye shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you.

Jesus answering said to them, Verily I say to you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig-tree, but also if ye shall say to this mountain, Be thou lifted up, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

And his name, thro' faith in his name, hath strengthened this man, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith which is by him, hath given him this perfect soundness, in the presence of you all.

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the master. Jesus hearing it answered him, saying, Fear not; believe only, and she shall be made whole. And coming into the house, he suffered none to go in, save Peter and James and John, and the father and mother of the maiden. read more.
And all wept and bewailed her. But he said, Weep not; she is not dead; but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. And he put them all out, and taking her by the hand, called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit returned, and she arose straightway, and he commanded to give her meat. And her parents were astonished: but he charged them, to tell no man that which had been done.

And Jesus coming into the ruler's house, and seeing the minstrels and the croud who cried out aloud, Saith to them, Withdraw; for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth: and they derided him. But when the people were put forth, he went in and took her by the hand; and the maid arose. read more.
And the fame of it went abroad into all that country.

While he spake these things to them, behold a certain ruler coming worshiped him, saying, My daughter is even now dying: but come and lay thine hand on her, and she shall live. And Jesus arose and followed him, and so did his disciples.

And there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, falleth at his feet. And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death: come and lay thy hands on her that she may be healed, and she shall live. And he went with him, and much people followed him and thronged him.

While he yet spake, they come from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master farther? When Jesus heard the word spoken he saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not; only believe. And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. read more.
And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth a tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And coming in, he saith to them, Why make ye this ado and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But having put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and goeth in where the damsel was lying. And taking the damsel by the hand he said to her, Talitha cumi, which is, being interpreted, Damsel, (I say to thee) arise. And straightway the damsel arose and walked: for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And he charged them straitly, that no man should know it, and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith to them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord.

This man heard Paul speaking; who fixing his eyes upon him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

And he wrought not many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.

And it hath often cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him; but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us. Jesus saith to him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child crying out, said with tears, Lord, I do believe: help thou mine unbelief.

But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to fulfil, the very works which I do, testify of me, that the Father hath sent me.

Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man pointed out to you of God, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God wrought by him in the midst of you, as yourselves also know:

And Jesus answering said to them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see. The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them: And happy is he, whosoever shall not be offended at me. And as they departed,

And the men being come to him, said, John the Baptist hath sent us to thee, saying, Art thou he that should come, or look we for another? And in that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues, and of evil spirits, and to many that were blind he gave sight. And he answering said to them, Go and tell John the things ye have seen and heard: the blind see; the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed; the deaf hear; the dead are raised; to the poor the gospel is preached.

Yet they abode a long time speaking boldly in the Lord, who bare witness to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Then all the multitude kept silence and hearkened to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought by them among the Gentiles.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul,

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you, in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Jesus said to him, Unless ye see signs and wonders, ye will in no wise believe.

And in the evening his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past: send the multitude away, that going into the villages, they may buy themselves victuals.

And taking the five loaves, and the two fishes, looking up to heaven, he blessed, and gave them to the disciples to set before them: and he divided the two fishes among them all.

And the day began to decline. And the twelve coming to him said, send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge and find victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

Jesus then lifting up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming to him, saith to Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

And when he was come into the vessel, his disciples followed him. And behold there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the vessel was covered with the waves. But he was asleep. And his disciples coming to him awoke him, saying, Lord, save us; we perish. read more.
And he saith to them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then arising, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and seas obey him?

And the same day, in the evening he saith to them, Let us go over to the other side. And having sent away the multitude, they take him as he was in the boat. And there were with him other little vessels. And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was now full. read more.
But he was asleep on the pillow, in the stern of the boat. And they awake him and say to him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace; be still. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. And he said to them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it, that ye have not faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

And on a certain day he went into a vessel with his disciples: and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they put to sea. And as they sailed, he fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were filled with water, and were in danger. And they came and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish! And he arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm. read more.
And he said to them, Where is your faith? But they were afraid and wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this? For he commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey him.

by what means he is healed, Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God hath raised from the dead, by him doth this man stand before you whole.

While thou stretchest forth thy hand to heal, and signs and wonders are done thro' the name of thy holy child Jesus.

And they come to Jericho. And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way-side begging. And when he heard, It is Jesus of Nazareth, he cried out and said, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him to hold his peace; but he cried so much the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. read more.
And Jesus standing still, commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying to him, Take courage; rise; he calleth thee. And casting away his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. And Jesus answering said to him, What wilt thou that I should do for thee? The blind man said to him, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said, Go; thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him in the way.

And as they were going from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. And behold two blind men sitting by the way-side, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. And the multitude charged them to hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. read more.
And Jesus standing still called them and said, What do ye desire that I should do to you? They say to him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. So Jesus moved with tender compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

And while he was yet nigh to Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging. And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked, what it meant? And they told him, Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. read more.
And he cried aloud saying, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. And they that went before charged him to hold his peace; but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus standing still, commanded him to be brought to him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I should do for thee? He said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said to him, Receive thy sight, thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: And all the people seeing it gave praise to God.

And God hath set in the church, first, apostles, secondly, prophets, thirdly, teachers: afterward miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, different kinds of tongues.

But if it be by the Spirit of God that I cast out devils, then the kingdom of God is come upon you.

by the power of the Spirit, so that I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ, from Jerusalem round about, as far as Illyricum.

Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts.

To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gift of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.

Yet they abode a long time speaking boldly in the Lord, who bare witness to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

by the power of the Spirit, so that I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ, from Jerusalem round about, as far as Illyricum.

God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and various miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.

And he constrained his disciples, to go straightway into the vessel, and go before him to the other side, while he sent the multitude away. And having sent the multitude away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray. And in the evening, he was there alone: but the vessel was now in the midst of the sea, tossed by the waves; for the wind was contrary. read more.
In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And the disciples seeing him walking on the sea, were troubled, saying, It is an apparition: and they cried out for fear. But Jesus immediately spake to them, saying, Take courage: it is I: be not afraid. And Peter answering him said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come to thee on the water. And he said, Come. And Peter coming down from the vessel, walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But seeing the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus reaching forth his hand, caught him, and saith to him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the vessel, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the vessel, came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

And straightway he constrained his disciples to go into the boat, and go before to the other side toward Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And having sent them away, he went to a mountain to pray. And in the evening, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. read more.
And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary to them. And about the fourth watch of the night he cometh to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed by them. But they seeing him walking on the sea, supposed it had been an apparition, and cried out. (For they all saw him and were troubled.) And immediately he talked with them, and saith to them, Take courage: it is I: be not afraid. And he went up to them into the boat, and the wind ceased: and they were amazed in themselves above measure and wondered. For they considered not the miracle of the loaves; for their heart was hardened.

In the evening, his disciples went down to the sea, And entering into the vessel, they went over the sea toward Capernaum: And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. And the sea ran high, a great wind blowing. read more.
And having rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship: and they were afraid. But he saith to them, It is I; be not afraid. Then they willingly received him into the ship; and immediately the ship was at the land to which they were bound.

And Herod seeing Jesus was exceeding glad; for he had been long desirous to see him, because he had heard many things of him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by him.

And the multitudes being gathered thick together, he said, This is an evil generation: it seeketh a sign; but no sign shall be given it, save the sign of Jonah.

Then the Parisees and Saducees came and tempting, desired him to shew them a sign from heaven.

And others tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

And Herod seeing Jesus was exceeding glad; for he had been long desirous to see him, because he had heard many things of him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by him.

And the multitudes being gathered thick together, he said, This is an evil generation: it seeketh a sign; but no sign shall be given it, save the sign of Jonah.

Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. And he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign, and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic, and suffereth grievously; for often he falleth into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, but they could not cure him. read more.
Then Jesus answering said, O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil, and he went out of him, and the child was cured from that hour. Then the disciples coming to Jesus apart said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief. For verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustardseed, ye shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting.

And coming to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them. And straightway all the multitude seeing him, were greatly amazed, and running to him, saluted him. And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? Master, I have brought to thee my son, who hath a dumb spirit. And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him, and he foameth and gnasheth with his teeth and pineth away. And I spake to thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not. He answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him to me. And they brought him to him. And when he saw him, immediately the spirit tore him, and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it since this came to him? And he said, From a little child. And it hath often cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him; but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us. Jesus saith to him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And when he was come into an house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing but by prayer and fasting.

And the next day, as they came down from the mountain, a great multitude met him. And behold a man from the croud, cried aloud saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son; for he is my only child. And lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out, and it teareth him, that he foameth, and bruising him, hardly departeth from him. read more.
And I besought thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not. And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring thy son hither. And as he was yet coming, the devil threw him down and tore him: and Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father. And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. And while they all wondered at all things which Jesus did,

And Jesus answering said to him, Happy art thou, Simon Barjonah; for flesh and blood have not revealed this to thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man,

And having cried and rent him sore, he came out; and he was as dead, so that many said, He is dead.

(And behold a woman who had had a flux of blood, twelve years, coming behind him, touched the hem of his garment. For she said within herself, if I but touch his garment, I shall be whole. And Jesus turning and seeing her, said, Daughter, take courage; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.)

And a certain woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grown worse, Having heard of Jesus, came in the croud behind, and touched his garment. read more.
For she said, If I but touch his clothes, I shall be whole. And the fountain of her blood was straightway dried up, and she knew in her body, that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus immediately knowing in himself, that virtue had gone out of him, turning about in the croud said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said to him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round to see her that had done this. And the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and continue whole of thy plague.

And a woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, and had spent all her living upon Physicians, neither could be healed by any, Came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? read more.
And Jesus said, Some one hath touched me; for I know that virtue is gone out of me. And the woman, seeing that she was not hid, came trembling, and falling down before him, declared to him before all the people, for what cause she had touched him, and how she had been healed immediately. And he said to her, Daughter, take courage: thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was ill of a fever, and they besought him for her. And standing over her, he rebuked the fever, and it left her: and immediately she arose and served them.

And coming out of the synagogue, they entered forthwith into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. And Simon's wife's mother lay ill of a fever, and immediately they tell him of her. And he came and taking her by the hand, lifted her up; and straightway the fever left her, and she waited on them.

And Jesus coming into Peter's house, saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose and waited upon them. When it was evening, they brought to him many demoniacs; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were ill: read more.
Whereby was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.

And behold they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time? And there was afar off from them an herd of many swine feeding. read more.
So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go into the herd of swine. And he said to them, Go. And coming out, they went into the herd of swine, and behold the whole herd rushed down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. But they that kept them fled, and going into the city, told every thing, and what had befallen the demoniacs. And behold the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and seeing him, they besought him, to depart out of their coasts.

And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And as he came out of the boat, there met him immediately out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs, and no man could bind him, no not with chains. read more.
For he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder, by him, and the fetters broken in pieces; and no man could tame him. And always night and day, he was in the tombs, and in the mountains, crying and cutting himself with stones. But seeing Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped him, And crying with a loud voice, said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. (For he had said to him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.) And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered saying, My name is Legion; for we are many. And he earnestly besought him, that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there at the mountain a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us to the swine, that we may go into them. And Jesus forthwith gave them leave. And the unclean spirits going out, entered into the swine, and the herd rushed down the steep into the sea, (they were about two thousand) and were choked in the sea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see that which was done. And they come to Jesus and see the demoniac, sitting and clothed and in his right mind: and they were afraid. And they saw it told them how it befell that demoniac, and also concerning the swine. And they prayed him to depart out of their coasts. And as he went into the boat, he that had been possessed with the devils, besought him, that he might be with him. But Jesus suffered him not, but said to him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed and published in Decapolis, how great things Jesus had done for him. And all men marvelled.

And they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is over-against Galilee. And as he went forth to land, there met him out of the city, a certain man that had had devils a long time, and wore no clothes, neither abode in an house, but in the tombs. But seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him, and said with a loud voice, What hast thou to do with me, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I beseech thee, torment me not. read more.
(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man: for many times it had caught him, and he had been kept bound with chains and fetters, and breaking the bands asunder, he had been driven by the spirit into the deserts.) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion; because many devils had entered into him. And they besought him, that he would not command them to go into the abyss. And there was an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him, that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine; and the herd rushed down a steep place into the lake and were choked. And they that fed them, seeing what was done, fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. Then they went out to see what was done, and came to Jesus, and found the man out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid. They also that had seen it told them, How he that was possessed by the devils was healed. Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about, besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear, and he went in the vessel and returned. And the man out of whom the devils were departed, besought him that he might be with him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, Return home, and shew what great things God hath done for thee. And he went and published through the whole city, how great things Jesus had done for him.

And unclean spirits when they saw him fell down before him and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

As they were going out, behold men brought a dumb demoniac to him. And when the devil were cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never seen thus, even in Israel.

Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb; and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. And the multitude were amazed and said, Is not this the Son of David? But the Pharisees hearing it said, This fellow casteth not out devils but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. read more.
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not be established. And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself: how then shall his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if it be by the Spirit of God that I cast out devils, then the kingdom of God is come upon you. How can one enter into the strong one's house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong one? And then he will plunder his house. He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth. Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven to men. And whosoever speaketh against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that to come. Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. Ye brood of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say to you, That every idle word which men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, or by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb: and when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake, and the people wondered. But some of them said, He casteth out devils by Beelzebub the prince of the devils:

And when he was come to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two demoniacs, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man could pass by that way.

And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him.

And he entered again into the synagogue: and there was a man there who had a withered hand.

And on another sabbath also he went into the synagogue and taught.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease, and all manner of malady among the people. And his fame went thro' all Syria; and they brought to him all sick people, that were seized with divers diseases and tormenting pains; even demoniacs, and lunaticks, and paralytics; and he healed them. And there followed him great multitudes from Galilee and Decapolis, and Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond Jordan.

And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought to him all that were diseased; And besought him, that they might touch but the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

And when he was come down from the Mountain, great multitudes followed him. And behold a leper came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying, I will; Be thou clean. read more.
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith to him, See thou tell no man, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

And there came to him a leper beseeching him and kneeling down to him and saying to him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with tender compassion, putting forth his hand, touched him, and saith to him, I will; be thou clean. And when he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was cleansed. read more.
And having straitly charged him, he forthwith sent him away, And saith to him, See thou say nothing to any man; but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them. But he going out published it much and blazed abroad the matter, so that he could no more openly enter into the city; but he was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

And when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy, who seeing Jesus, fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And putting forth his hand he touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. And he charged him to tell no man: but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them. read more.
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together, to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities. But he withdrew into the deserts and prayed.

And behold they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a couch; and Jesus seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Son, Take courage: thy sins are forgiven thee.

And he spake the word to them. And they come to him, bringing a paralytic, borne of four.

And behold men bringing on a couch a man that was ill of the palsy; and they sought to bring him in, and lay him before him.

And going forth he saw a great multitude, and was moved with tender compassion for them, and healed their sick.

And Jesus passing thence, came nigh the sea of Galilee; and going up into a mountain, he sat down there. And great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, disabled, and many others; and cast them at the feet of Jesus, and he healed them: So that the multitudes wondered, seeing the dumb to speak, the disabled whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

And departing thence, he went into their synagogue. And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him. And he said to them, What man is there among you, that shall have one sheep, who if it fall into a pit on the sabbath, will not lay hold on it and lift it out? read more.
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath-day. Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, as the other.

And he entered again into the synagogue: and there was a man there who had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him. And he saith to the man that had the withered hand, Stand forth. read more.

And looking round upon them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth: and his hand was restored.

And the scribes and Pharisees watched, whether he would heal on the sabbath, that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man that had the withered hand, Rise up and stand forth in the midst. read more.
And he arose and stood forth. Then said Jesus to them, I will ask you, Which is lawful on the sabbath, To do good, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill? And looking round upon them all, he said to him, Stretch forth thy hand; and he did so: and his hand was restored as the other. And they were filled with madness, and talked one with another, what they should do to Jesus.

And going into the vessel, he passed over, and came to his own city. And behold they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a couch; and Jesus seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Son, Take courage: thy sins are forgiven thee. And behold certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. read more.
And Jesus seeing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts? For which is easier? To say, Thy sins are forgiven thee? Or to say, Arise and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins (then saith he to the paralytic) Arise, take up thy couch, and go to thy house. And he arose and went to his own house. And the multitude seeing it, marvelled, and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was heard that he was in the house. And immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no room for them, no, not even about the door. And he spake the word to them. And they come to him, bringing a paralytic, borne of four. read more.
And not being able to come nigh him for the croud, they uncovered the roof where he was, and having broken it up, they let down the couch whereon the paralytic lay. Jesus seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee. But certain of the scribes were sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God only? And Jesus immediately knowing in his spirit, that they so reasoned in themselves, said to them, Why reason ye thus in your hearts? Which is easier? To say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven thee? Or to say, Arise, and take up thy couch and walk? But that ye may know, that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins: (He saith to the paralytic) I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go to thine house. And immediately he arose, and taking up his couch, went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw it thus.

And on a certain day as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every town of Galilee, and out of Judea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. And behold men bringing on a couch a man that was ill of the palsy; and they sought to bring him in, and lay him before him. And not finding by what way they might bring him in thro' the multitude, they went upon the house, and let him down thro' the tiling with his couch into the midst, before Jesus. read more.

And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there. Now in the morning, as he was returning to the city he hungered. And seeing a fig-tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon but leaves only. And he saith to it, Let no fruit grow on thee hence-forward for ever. read more.
And presently the fig-tree withered away. And the disciples seeing it marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig-tree withered away? Jesus answering said to them, Verily I say to you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig-tree, but also if ye shall say to this mountain, Be thou lifted up, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

And on the morrow, as they were coming from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing a fig-tree afar off, having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and coming to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not a season of figs. And he answering said to it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever: And his disciples heard it.

they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots. And Peter remembring, saith to him, Master, behold the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith to them, Have faith in God. read more.
For verily I say to you, Whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and cast into the sea, and not doubt in his heart, but believe that the things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say to you, What things soever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall receive, and ye shall have them.

Yet they abode a long time speaking boldly in the Lord, who bare witness to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

The same came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know, that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles which thou dost, except God be with him.

Then all the multitude kept silence and hearkened to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought by them among the Gentiles.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul,

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you, in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Jesus said to him, Unless ye see signs and wonders, ye will in no wise believe.

And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith to them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord.

This man heard Paul speaking; who fixing his eyes upon him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

And it hath often cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him; but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us. Jesus saith to him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child crying out, said with tears, Lord, I do believe: help thou mine unbelief.

but now have they seen them, and yet hated both me and my Father.

Then began he to upbraid the cities, wherein most of his mighty works had been done, because they repented not. Wo to thee, Chorazin, wo to thee, Bethsaida: for if the mighty works which have been done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Moreover I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. read more.
And thou, Capernaum, who hast been exalted to heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained till this day. But I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.

And the wild beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who had wrought the miracles before him, with which he deceived them who had the mark of the wild beast, and them who had worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And with all deceiveableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, so that that they shall believe a lie, That they all may be condemned, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the wonders which it is given him to do before the wild beast: saying to them that dwell on the earth, to make an image to the wild beast, which had the wound by the sword, and yet lived.

But if it be by the Spirit of God that I cast out devils, then the kingdom of God is come upon you.

by the power of the Spirit, so that I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ, from Jerusalem round about, as far as Illyricum.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

But an angel of the Lord opened the prison-doors, by night, and bringing them forth, said, Go, stand and speak in the temple the words of this life. And hearing this, they went into the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest being come, and they that were with him, called together the council, even the whole senate of the children of Israel, read more.
and sent to the prison, to have them brought, But when the officers came, they found them not in the prison; and returning they said, Truly we found the prison shut with all safety, and the keepers standing before the doors; but having opened them, we found no man within.

And when Herod was about to bring him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood over him, and light shined in the house: and smiting Peter on the side he waked him, saying, Rise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said to him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals; and he did so. And he saith to him, Throw thy garment about thee, and follow me. read more.
And going out, he followed him. And he knew not, that it was real which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. When they had passed the first and the second ward, they came to the iron gate that leadeth to the city, which opened to them of its own accord: and going out, they went on through one street; and immediately the angel departed from him. And Peter coming to himself, said, Now I know of a truth, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

And this she did for many days. But Paul being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ, to go out of her. And he came out the same hour.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul, So that handkerchiefs or aprons were carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits came out of them.

Now the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and bloody flux; to whom Paul went in, and having prayed, laid his hands on him and healed him. And when this was done, the rest also in the island who had disorders,

But tho' he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him;

And they come to Jericho. And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way-side begging.

And when Jesus passed thence, two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

And behold two blind men sitting by the way-side, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb; and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

As they were going out, behold men brought a dumb demoniac to him.

And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb: and when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake, and the people wondered.

And the people with one accord gave heed to the things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

For I will not dare to speak of any thing which Christ hath not done by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit, so that I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ, from Jerusalem round about, as far as Illyricum.

For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit,

And behold a woman of Canaan, of those coasts, came and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Elijah was a man of like passions with us; and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the land for three years and six months.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, on the feast day, many believed in his name, beholding the miracles which he did.

And Jesus wrought many other miracles also, in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life thro' his name.

And Jesus going thence, retired to the coast of Tyre and Sidon. And behold a woman of Canaan, of those coasts, came and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she crieth after us. read more.
But he answering said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answering said, It is not right, to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. And she said, True, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table. And Jesus answering said to her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee as thou wilt. And her daughter was healed from that hour.

And he arose and went thence into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And entring into an house, he would have had no man know it; but he could not be hid. For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell at his feet, (The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation) and besought him to cast the devil out of her daughter. read more.
But Jesus said to her, Let the children first be satisfied; for it is not right to take the childrens bread and cast it to the dogs. She answered and said to him, True, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. And he said to her, For this saying, go: the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And going to her house, she found the devil gone out and her daughter lying on the bed.

Then Jesus calling his disciples to him said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I am not willing to send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

So they did eat and were satisfied; and they took up of the fragments that were left, seven baskets.

And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name they shall cast out devils:

And his name, thro' faith in his name, hath strengthened this man, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith which is by him, hath given him this perfect soundness, in the presence of you all.

While thou stretchest forth thy hand to heal, and signs and wonders are done thro' the name of thy holy child Jesus.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and various miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.

And he ordained twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal diseases and to cast out devils.

And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

And there was in their synagogue a man heaving an unclean spirit, and he cried out, saying, Let us alone: what have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy one of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him. read more.
And the unclean spirit having torn him, and cried with a loud noise, came out of him.

And there was in the synagogue, a man who had a spirit of an unclean devil; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying, Let us alone: What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy one of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And the devil having thrown him in the midst, came out of him, and hurt him not. read more.
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What word is this, that with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out!

Now the birth of Christ was on this wise: His mother Mary, being espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and yet not willing to make her a publick example, purposed to put her away privily. But while he was thinking on these things, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take to thee Mary thy wife; for that which is begotten in her, is of the Holy Ghost. read more.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall save his people from their sins. (Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold the virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a Son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, God with us.) Then Joseph, being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: But he knew her not, till she had brought forth her Son, the first-born. And he called his name Jesus.

And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God, to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin of the house of David, espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel coming in to her, said, Hail, thou highly favoured; the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. read more.
But she seeing him, was troubled at his saying, and reasoned, what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give him the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob; for ever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary to the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answering said to her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee; therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born, shall be called the Son of God. And behold thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God, nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. And Mary arose in those days, and went with haste into the hill-country, into a city of Judah, And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb: and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost, And cried with a loud voice and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For lo! when the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And happy is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him, from generation to generation. He hath wrought strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things, but sent the rich empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever. And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. Now Elisabeth's full time came, that she should be delivered, and she brought forth a son. And her neighbours and relations heard, that the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her, and they rejoiced with her. And on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. But his mother answering said, Nay, but he shall be called John. And they said to her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. And they made signs to his father, what he would have him called. And asking for a writing-tablet, he wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. And immediately his mouth was opened, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, praising God. And fear came on all that dwelt round about them, and all these things were noised abroad, in all the hill-country of Judea. And all that heard them, laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be? And the hand of the Lord was with him. And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us, in the house of his servant David: As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant, The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant us, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, to serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. And thou, child, shalt be a prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord, to prepare his ways, To give knowledge of salvation to his people, by the remission of their sins, Thro' the tender mercy of our God, whereby the Day-spring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts, till the day of his being shewn to Israel.

And this she did for many days. But Paul being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ, to go out of her. And he came out the same hour.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul,

Then Jesus calling his disciples to him said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I am not willing to send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. And his disciples say to him, Whence should we have so much bread in a wilderness, as to satisfy so great a multitude? And Jesus saith to them, How many loaves have you? read more.
They said, Seven, and a few small fishes. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass. And taking the seven loaves and the fishes, he gave thanks and brake them and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they all ate and were satisfied, and they took up of the fragments that remained seven baskets full. And they that had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children. And having sent away the multitude, he took ship again, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

In those days, the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus calling his disciples saith to them, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat. And his disciples answered him, Whence can one satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion,

And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die.

He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spake to you being yet in Galilee,

No one taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.

Yet they abode a long time speaking boldly in the Lord, who bare witness to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul,

Now when he had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. And hearing of Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, beseeching him to come and heal his servant. read more.
And coming to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying, He is worthy for whom thou shouldest do this. For he loveth our nation, and hath himself built us a synagogue. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, trouble not thyself; for I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof. Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come to thee; but speak in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man set under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doth it. Jesus hearing these things, marvelled at him, and turning, said to the people that followed him, I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And they that had been sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth in the house, ill of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith to him, I will come and heal him. read more.
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy, that thou shouldst come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said to the centurion, Go thy way, and as thou hast believed, be it to thee. And his servant was healed in that hour.

Yet to none of these was Elijah sent, but to Sarepta, a city of Sidon, to a widow.

And the unclean spirit having torn him, and cried with a loud noise, came out of him.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And the devil having thrown him in the midst, came out of him, and hurt him not.

Jesus wrought this beginning of miracles in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed on him.

Jesus hearing it, said, This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified thereby.

And immediately she fell at his feet and expired; and the young men coming in, found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.

And Ananias hearing these words, fell down and expired; and great fear came on all that heard these things.

Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, unless the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,

Whose coming is after the mighty working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders,

And he doth great wonders, so that he even maketh fire to come down out of heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each, to profit withal.

So ye also, seeing ye desire spiritual gifts, seek to abound in them, to the edifying of the church. Therefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue, pray that he may interpret.

Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works which I do, shall he do also; and greater than these shall he do, because I go to my Father.

And Jesus said, Forbid him not; for there is no one who shall do a miracle in my name, who can readily speak evil of me.

And the wild beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who had wrought the miracles before him, with which he deceived them who had the mark of the wild beast, and them who had worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

For false Christs and false prophets shall arise and shew great signs and wonders, so that they would deceive (if it were possible) even the elect.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance, to stir up the gift of God which is in thee, by the laying on of my hands.

Whose coming is after the mighty working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders,

working miracles) go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them unto the battle of the great day of God, the Almighty.

And Paul laying his hands on them, the Holy Ghost came upon them, and they spake with tongues and prophesied.

Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And Simon seeing that thro' laying on of the hands of the apostles the Holy Ghost was given,

And yet I shew unto you a more excellent way.

Follow after love: and desire spiritual gifts; but especially that ye may prophesy.

And God hath set in the church, first, apostles, secondly, prophets, thirdly, teachers: afterward miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, different kinds of tongues.

For to one is given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom; to another by the same Spirit, the word of knowledge; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gift of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.

And as he journeyed, he drew near Damascus; and suddenly there shone about him a light from heaven. And falling to the earth, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee, to kick against the goads. read more.
And he trembling and astonished, said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And Ananias went and entered into the house, and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord hath sent me, Jesus who appeared to thee in the way thou camest, that thou mayst recover thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately as it were scales fell from his eyes, and he recovered his sight, and arose and was baptized.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said to him, Art thou he that should come, or look we for another?

And Zacharias said to the angel, Whereby shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife advanced in years.

And after these days, his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, Thus hath the Lord done to me, in the days wherein he looked upon me, to take away my reproach among men.

And seeing a fig-tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon but leaves only. And he saith to it, Let no fruit grow on thee hence-forward for ever.

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received the tribute-mony came to Peter and said, Doth not your master pay the tribute?

And having called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal every disease and every malady.

Now one Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha, was sick. (It was that Mary, who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick) Therefore his sisters sent to him, saying, Lord, behold he whom thou lovest is sick. read more.
Jesus hearing it, said, This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified thereby. Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. So after he had heard that he was sick, he abode still two days in the place where he was. Then after this he saith to his disciples, Let us go into Judea again. The disciples say to him, Master, the Jews but now sought to stone thee, and goest thou thither again? Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if any man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because the light is not in him. Thus he spake, and after that he saith to them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go to awake him. Then the disciples said, Lord, if he sleep, he will recover. Jesus spake of his death, but they thought he had spoken of the natural rest in sleep. Then said Jesus to them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sake I was not there, that ye may believe: but let us go to him. Then said Thomas, called Didymus, to his fellow-disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. When Jesus came, he found he had been now four days in the tomb. (Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off.) And many of the Jews were come to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him; but Mary sat in the house. Then said Martha to Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know even now, that whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith to her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith to him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, tho' he die, yet shall he live; And whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall not die for ever. Believest thou this? She saith to him, Yea, Lord, I believe thou art the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world. Having said this, she went and privately called Mary her sister, saying, The master is come, and calleth for thee. As soon as she heard it, she arose quickly and came to him. Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was at the place where Martha had met him. The Jews then who were with her in the house and comforted her, seeing Mary, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, She is going to the tomb, to weep there. When Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, he groaned deeply, and troubled himself, And said, Where have ye laid him? They say to him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold, how he loved him! And some of them said, Could not this person, who opened the eyes of the blind, have even caused that this man should not have died? Jesus again groaning in himself, cometh to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus saith, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the deceased, saith to him, Lord, by this time he stinketh; for he hath been buried four days. Jesus saith to her, Said I not to thee, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from where the dead lay. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, Father, I thank thee, that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but I spake this, because of the people who stand by, that they may believe thou hast sent me. And having spoken thus, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that had been dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapt about with a napkin. Jesus saith to them, Loose him, and let him go.
