and came and took up his abode in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets, "He will be called a Nazarene,"

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,

And, these, shall go away, into, age-abiding, correction, but, the righteous, into, age-abiding, life.

And into whatever city or village ye may enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide until ye go forth.

then saith he to them, 'Exceedingly sorrowful is my soul -- unto death; abide ye here, and watch with me.'

And Jesus calling His disciples to Him, said, I sympathize with the multitude, because already three days abide unto me, and they have nothing which they may eat; I do not wish to send them away fasting, lest they may faint on the road.

When they were departed, Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream saying,. "Arise, and take the child and his mother, and fly into Egypt, and abide there till I bring thee word: For Herod will seek the child to destroy him."

Heaven and earth shall perish: but my words shall abide.

And he left them, and went out of the city unto Bethany, and had his abiding there.

“Therefore, the one who confesses and acknowledges Me before men [as Lord and Savior, affirming a state of oneness with Me], that one I will also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven.
