So every good tree bears good fruits, but a bad tree bears bad fruits;

a good tree cannot bear bad fruits, nor a bad tree good fruits.

And when the time of the fruits approached he sent his servants to the husbandmen to receive his fruits.

You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns? or figs from thistles?

By their fruits, therefore, you shall know them.

They said to him, He will inflict on those men a miserable death, and let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, who will render him the fruits in their seasons.
