It is so, because God's nonsense is wiser than men's wisdom, and God's weakness is mightier than men's might.

For, among human beings, who knows a man's inner thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? In the same way, also, only God's Spirit is acquainted with God's inner thoughts.

For we are God's co-workers. You are God's farmland and God's building.

When I was a child, I made use of a child's language, I had a child's feelings and a child's thoughts: now that I am a man, I have put away the things of a child.

For, through his wife, the husband who is an unbeliever has become associated with Christ's People; and the wife who is an unbeliever has become associated with Christ's People through our Brother whom she has married. Does not the "cup of blessing," which we bless, signify a fellowship with Christ's [physical] blood? [Note: This was the cup used at the close of the Passover meal and was called this because of the prayer of thanksgiving offered for it. Paul refers to such a prayer in connection with its use in the Lord's Supper]. Does not the bread that we break signify a fellowship with Christ's [physical] body?

I mean this, that one of you says, "I belong to Paul's party," another, "And I belong to Apollos' party," another, "And I belong to Cephas' party," another, "And I belong to Christ's party."

but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks alike, the Christ who is God's power and God's wisdom.

so that your faith might not be in men's wisdom, but in God's power.

For who has ever known the Lord's thoughts, so that he can instruct Him? But we now possess Christ's thoughts.

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is sacred to Him, and you are that temple.

And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

to men who have no written law, like one without any law, though I am not without God's law but specially under Christ's law, to win the men who have no written law.

and man was not created for woman's sake, but woman was for man's sake.

So whoever eats the bread and drinks from the Lord's cup in an unworthy way is guilty of sinning against the Lord's body and blood.

But by God's unmerited favor I have become what I am, and His unmerited favor shown to me was not bestowed for nothing, for I have toiled more extensively than any of them, and yet it was not I but God's unmerited favor working with me.

You know that you are God's sanctuary and that God's Spirit lives in you, don't you?

But I will come to you soon if it's the Lord's will. Then I'll discover not only what these arrogant people are saying but also what power they have,

A man should not cover his head, because he exists as God's image and glory. But the woman is man's glory.

Now death's stinger is sin, and sin's power is the Law.

Know you not that your bodies are Christ's members? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them a harlot's members? by no means.

But all have not this knowledge; and some with the conscience [unenlightened] even till now eat an idol's [sacrifice] as an idol's sacrifice, and their conscience being weak is defiled.

You cannot drink the Lord's cup and the cup of demons; you cannot partake at the Lord's table and the table of demons.

Conscience I say, not thy own, but the other's; for why is my liberty to be judged by another man's conscience?
