And Judah went unto the Cananites that dwelt in Hebron, which before time was called Kiriatharba. And slew Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai.

And from thence they went to the inhabiters of Debir, whose name in old time was called Kiriathsepher.

And Judah went and Simeon with him, and they slew the Cananites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it, and called the name of the city Hormah.

and the house of Joseph searched out Bethel which before time was called Luz.

And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city and called the name thereof Luz, which is the name thereof unto this day.

And called the name of the said place, Bochim, and offered there unto the LORD.

And they went and pitched in Kiriathjearim in Judah. Wherefore the place is called Mahanahdan unto this day, which is on the back side of Kiriathjearim.
