To this day they do after their former customs: they fear not Jehovah, neither do they after their statutes or after their ordinances, nor after the law and commandment that Jehovah commanded the sons of Jacob, whom he named Israel.

After David had reached old age, and had completed his reign, he set his son Solomon as king over Israel.
Of which, twenty and four thousand were to look after the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges:
As to Moses, the man of God, his sons are called after the tribe of Levi.
