The princes of Moab rose up, and they went to Balak, and said, "Balaam refuses to come with us."

Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.

God's anger was kindled because he went; and the angel of Yahweh placed himself in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.

The donkey saw the angel of Yahweh standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand; and the donkey turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam struck the donkey, to turn her into the way.

And the angel of the LORD went and stood in a path between the vineyards, where was a wall on the one side and another on the other.

And the ass saw the angel of the Lord, and went near the wall, crushing Balaam's foot against the wall; and he gave her more blows.

The angel of Yahweh went further, and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

And the ass saw the angel of the Lord and went down on the earth under Balaam; and full of wrath, Balaam gave her hard blows with his stick.

Then the Lord made Balaam's eyes open, and he saw the angel of the Lord in the way with his sword in his hand: and he went down on his face to the earth.

And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why have you beaten your ass these three times? Behold! I went out to be an enemy to you, because your way is perverse before Me.

The angel of Yahweh said to Balaam, "Go with the men; but only the word that I shall speak to you, that you shall speak." So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

When Balak heard that Balaam had come, he went out to meet him to the City of Moab, which is on the border of the Arnon, which is in the utmost part of the border.

Balaam went with Balak, and they came to Kiriath Huzoth.

Balaam said to Balak, "Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go: perhaps Yahweh will come to meet me; and whatever he shows me I will tell you." He went to a bare height.

And so he went to a high place, where the LORD met with Balaam, who told him, "I've prepared seven altars and offered bulls and rams on an altar."

And he went again unto him and lo, he stood by his sacrifice: both he and all the lords of Moab.

And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

Then he went on with his story and said, These are the words of Balaam, the son of Beor, the words of him whose eyes are open:

Then, turning his eyes to Amalek, he went on with his story and said, Amalek was the first of the nations, but his part will be destruction for ever.

And looking on the Kenites he went on with his story and said, Strong is your living-place, and your secret place is safe in the rock.

Then he went on with his story and said, But who may keep his life when God does this?

Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.

And behold, a man from the sons of Israel went, and he will bring to his brethren a Midianitess before the eyes of Moses, and before the eyes of all the assembly of the sons of Israel; and they were weeping at the door of the tent of appointment

and he went after the man of Israel into the pavilion, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

And they went down into the open mouth of the earth, together with Korah, when death overtook him and all his band; at the time when two hundred and fifty men were burned in the fire, and they became a sign.

Because in the waste land of Zin, when the people were angry, you and he went against my word and did not keep my name holy before their eyes, at the waters. (These are the waters of Meribah in Kadesh in the waste land of Zin.)

if a man makes a vow for Yahweh or swears an oath with a binding pledge on himself, he must not render his word invalid; he must do all that went out from his mouth.

Moses sent 1,000 from each tribe to war. They went with Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest, in whose care were the holy objects and signal trumpets.

They went away with the goods they had taken, man and beast.

And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.

And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:

And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

'The men who went up from Egypt, from {those twenty years old} and above, will not see the land that I swore with an oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because they have not wholly followed me,

And they went near him and said, "We will build sheepfolds here for our sheep and for our cattle, and cities for our children:

And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair.

And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

And the stages of their journey on their way out were put down in writing by Moses at the order of the Lord: these are the stages of their journey and the way they went.

And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

So the children of Israel went from Rameses and put up their tents in Succoth.

And they went on from Succoth and put up their tents in Etham on the edge of the waste land.

And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

And they removed from Marah and went unto Elim where were twelve fountains and seventy palm trees and they pitched there.

And they went on from Elim and put up their tents by the Red Sea.

Then from the Red Sea they went on and put up their tents in the waste land of Sin.

And they went on from the waste land of Sin, and put up their tents in Dophkah.

And they went on from Dophkah, and put up their tents in Alush.

And they went on from Alush, and put up their tents in Rephidim, where there was no drinking-water for the people.

And they went on from Rephidim, and put up their tents in the waste land of Sinai.

And they went on from the waste land of Sinai and put up their tents in Kibroth-hattaavah.

And they went on from Kibroth-hattaavah, and put up their tents in Hazeroth.

And they went on from Hazeroth, and put up their tents in Rithmah.

And they went on from Rithmah, and put up their tents in Rimmon-perez.

And they went on from Rimmon-perez, and put up their tents in Libnah.

And they went on from Libnah, and put up their tents in Rissah.

And they went on from Rissah, and put up their tents in Kehelathah.

And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

And they went on from Mount Shepher, and put up their tents in Haradah.

And they went on from Haradah, and put up their tents in Makheloth.

And they went on from Makheloth, and put up their tents in Tahath.

And they went on from Tahath, and put up their tents in Terah.

And they went on from Terah, and put up their tents in Mithkah.

And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

And they went on from Hashmonah, and put up their tents in Moseroth.

And they went on from Moseroth, and put up their tents in Bene-jaakan.

And they went on from Bene-jaakan, and put up their tents in Hor-haggidgad.

And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

And they went on from Jotbathah, and put up their tents in Abronah.

And they went on from Abronah, and put up their tents in Ezion-geber.

And they went on from Ezion-geber, and put up their tents in the waste land of Zin (which is Kadesh).

And they went on from Kadesh, and put up their tents in Mount Hor, on the edge of the land of Edom.

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

And from Mount Hor they went on, and put up their tents in Zalmonah.

And they went on from Zalmonah, and put up their tents in Punon.

And they went on from Punon, and put up their tents in Oboth.

And they went on from Oboth, and put up their tents in Iye-abarim at the edge of Moab.

And they went on from Iyim, and put up their tents in Dibon-gad.

And from Dibon-gad they went on, and put up their tents in Almon-diblathaim.

And from Almon-diblathaim they went on, and put up their tents in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

And they went on from the mountains of Abarim, and put up their tents in the lowlands of Moab by Jordan at Jericho;

And to you turned the boundary from the south to the ascending of Akrabbim, and it passed over Zin: and its going forth was from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it went forth to the Enclosure of the Threshing Floor, and it passed over to Azmon:

And the boundary went forth to Ziphron, and the goings out were the Enclosure of Enan: this shall be to you the north boundary.

And the boundary went down from Shepham to Riblah, from the east to Ain; and the boundary went down and it struck upon the shoulder of the son of Chinnereth eastward.

And the boundary went down to Jordan, and its goings out were to the salt sea. This shall be to you the land according to the boundaries round about

And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.

And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.

Jehovah your God went before you; he will fight for you according to all that he did to you in Egypt before your eyes.

And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.

Then responded ye and said unto me - We have sinned against Yahweh, We, ourselves, will go up, and fight, according to all that Yahweh our God hath commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye foolishly went up towards the hill-country.

So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

The Amorites living in the hill country went out {to oppose you} and chased you as [a swarm of] wild honey bees do; and [so] they {beat} you down in Seir as far as Hormah.

Then we turned and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as Jehovah spoke to me. And we went around Mount Seir many days.

And when we were departed from our brethren, the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir by the field way from Elath and Eziongeber, we turned and went the way to the wilderness of Moab.

Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
