And he beheld them and said, "What meaneth this then that is written, 'The stone that the builders refused, the same is made the head cornerstone?' Whosoever stumble at that stone, shall be broken: but on whosoever it fall upon, it will grind him to powder."

The same stone which the builders refused, is become the headstone in the corner.

if we this day are examined of the good deed done to the sick man by what means he is made whole: be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, and whom God raised from death again, even by him doth this man stand here present before you whole. This is the stone cast aside of you builders which is set in the chief place of the corner.

Unto you therefore which believe is he precious: but unto them which believe not, the stone which the builders refused, the same is made the headstone in the corner and a stone to stumble at, and a rock to offend them which stumble at the word, and believe not that whereon they were set.
