You who boast in law, do you dishonor God through your transgression of the law?

For it were better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than, having known it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A dog having returned to his own vomit"; and "A sow that was washed, to her wallowing in mire."
