When he gives rest, who then can make trouble? If he hides his face, who then can behold him? This applies to a nation and the same to a man, that the hypocrite not reign, lest the people be ensnared.
And I will give the Egyptians over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a violent king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of the hosts.

And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor for the principals of the flock to escape. The voice of the cry of the shepherds and a howling of the principals of the flock shall be heard! For the LORD has spoiled their pasture. And the quiet pastures shall be cut off by the fierce anger of the LORD.
