When Jesus heard it, he said to them: Those who are in health have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy, and not sacrifice. For I came not to call righteous men, but sinners to repentance.

And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eating with publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples: Why is it that he eats and drinks with publicans and sinners? And when Jesus heard it, he said to them: Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call righteous men, but sinners.

And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying: Why do you eat and drink with publicans and sinners? And Jesus answered arid said to them: They that are well have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. I have not come to call righteous men, but sinners, to repentance.

Is any one among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil, in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick; and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that you may be restored to health: the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

And I saw, and do testify that this is the Son of God.
