Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men; for they will deliver you to the councils, and scourge you in their synagogues. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified thro' the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also who will believe on me thro' their word: That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye are Christ's, then are ye the seed of Abraham, and heirs according to the promise.

For as the body is one, and yet hath many members, but all the members of the body, many as they are, are one body, so is Christ. For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether slaves or freemen; and we have all drank of one Spirit.
