Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

He appointed twelve to be with him and he sent them out to preach. He gave them authority to cast out demons.

He summoned the twelve and sent them forth in pairs. They were given authority over the unclean spirits. They were instructed to take nothing for their journey, with the exception of a walking staff. They were to take no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse and no extra sandals or coat. read more.
He said: When someone invites you to enter into a house, stay there until you leave. When someone will not listen to you leave that house and shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony to the householder.

He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He said, Take nothing for your journey. Do not take a staff or food or money. Do not even take two coats. read more.
Stay at the house you enter until you depart. If someone does not receive you, when you leave the city, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against that person.

You have continued with me in my temptations. I assigned a kingdom to you just as my Father assigned it to me. Just as you eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

On that day tell your children: 'We do this because of what Jehovah did for us when we left Egypt.' This festival will be like a mark on your hand. It will be a reminder on your forehead that the teachings of Jehovah are always to be a part of your conversation! Jehovah used his mighty hand to bring you out of Egypt. You must follow these rules every year at this time.

In the future when your children ask you, 'What does this mean?' tell them: 'Jehovah used his mighty hand to bring us out of slavery in Egypt.'' Pharaoh was too stubborn to let us go. Because of this every firstborn male in Egypt-human and animal was killed. This is why we sacrifice every firstborn male to Jehovah and buy every firstborn son back from Jehovah. This festival will be like a mark on your hand and like a band on your forehead, because Jehovah used his mighty hand to bring us out of Egypt.

Be on your guard! Make sure you do not forget, as long as you live, what you have seen with your own eyes. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren. Do you remember the day you stood in the presence of Jehovah your God at Mount Sinai (Horeb)? He said to me: 'assemble the people. I want them to hear what I have to say, so that they will learn to obey me as long as they live. Then they will teach their children to do the same.'

These words that I command you this day must be in your heart. Carefully teach them to your sons. Talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way. Speak about them when you lie down, and when you rise up. Bind them for a sign upon your hand. They shall be as frontlets between your eyes. read more.
Write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.

Teach them to your children! Talk about them in your home and away. Speak of them when you lie down or get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the alien who is in your town. Assemble them that they may hear and learn and respect Jehovah your God, and be careful to observe all the words of this Law. Their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to respect Jehovah your God, as long as you live on the land you will possess when you cross the Jordan River.

([Psalm of Asaph]) Listen, O my people, to my law. Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in an illustration. I will utter dark sayings of old, That we have heard and known and our fathers have told us. read more.
We will not conceal them from their children, but tell to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, and his strength and his wondrous works that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel. This he commanded our fathers that they should teach them to their children, That the generation to come might know, the children to be born, that they may arise and tell to their children, That they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God but keep his commandments. They should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not prepare its heart and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He presented himself this way. There were together Simon Peter; Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. Simon Peter said to them: I am going fishing. They told him: We would also come with you. They boarded the boat and caught nothing that night. read more.
Jesus stood on the beach at daybreak. The disciples did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to them: Children, have you anything to eat? They answered him: No. He said: Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find fish. They cast it and they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. That disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter: It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat about him (for he was dressed only in undergarments), and jumped into the sea. The other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away), dragging the net full of fishes. When they got to land, they saw a fire of coals and fish laid on it, and bread. Jesus said: Bring the fish you caught. Simon Peter went to draw the net to land. It was full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty three in all. There were so many and yet the net was not torn. Jesus said to them: Come and eat. And none of the disciples dared to inquire, who are you? They just knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and fish and gave it to them. This is the third time Jesus was seen by the disciples since he was raised from the dead. When they had eaten Jesus said to Simon Peter: Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? After he spoke he said: Follow me. Peter, turning about, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following. He is the one who also leaned back on his breast at the supper, and said, Lord, who is he that betrays you? Seeing this Peter said to Jesus: Lord, what shall this man do? Jesus said: If it is my will that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me. This expression went among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. Yet Jesus did not say that he should not die. He only said: If I will that he stay until I come, what is that to you?
