Someone must join us as a witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. He must be one of the men who were in our group during the time that the Lord Jesus traveled about with us. This should be from the time John preached his message of baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us to heaven. One who was with us from the baptism of John, to the day that he was received up from us must become a witness with us of his resurrection.

Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear! You are more valuable than many sparrows. I will tell my heavenly Father about everyone who confesses me (witnesses to others about me) before men. I will deny, before my heavenly Father, anyone who denies me before men.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. He who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Anyone who does not pick up his stake and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it. Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

But it will not be so among you. He who will be great among you must be your servant. And he who will be first among you will be your attendant (servant) (minister).

Repent therefore, and turn around, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times (seasons) of refreshing shall come from the presence of Jehovah. (Deuteronomy 18:18, 19) He will send Jesus Christ, who preached to you. whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things. God spoke about this through all his holy prophets since the world began. Moses said to the fathers, 'Jehovah will raise up for your brothers a prophet like me. You must listen to all the things he speaks to you.' (Deuteronomy 18:18) It will happen. Every person who will not listen to the prophet will be destroyed from among the people. Yes, all the prophets from Samuel and his successors also announced these days. You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made with our fathers. He said to Abraham: 'All the families of the earth will be blessed in your seed.' God raised up his servant and sent him to you first. He sent him to bless you and to turn every one of you from your wicked ways.

If we are on trial for a good deed done to a sick man, concerning how this man was made well; Let it be known to you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you impaled and whom God raised from the dead, even by him this man stands before you healed. There is no salvation in anyone else. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. They observed the confidence of Peter and John. Peter and John answered: You judge whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God. We cannot stop speaking the things we have seen and heard.

When they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and those who were with him. He called the council together and all the senate of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have them brought. Verse Concepts
