Then cometh Jesus with them to a place called Gethsemane, and saith to the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go yonder and pray. And he took with him Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. And Jesus said to him, Friend, Why art thou come? Then they came, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

And while he was yet speaking, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said to him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? When they who were about him, saw what would follow, they said to him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Kedron, where was a garden, into which he entered, and his disciples. And Judas also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus often resorted thither with his disciples.
