But know this, that, had the householder known at what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through. Therefore, be ye also ready; for, in an hour that ye think not, the Son of Man is coming.

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand), then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; And let him who is on the house not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house; and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment. But woe to those with child and to those giving suck in those days! And pray that it be not in winter; for those days will be a time of tribulation, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be. And, unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but, for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. And then, if any one shall say to you, 'Lo, here is the Christ!' or, 'Lo, there!' believe him not; for there will arise false Christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But take heed; I have foretold you all things. And, as some were speaking about the temple, "With what beautiful stones and offerings it has been adorned," He said, "As to these things which ye are looking upon, the days will come, in which there will not be left here a stone upon a stone, which will not be thrown down." And a hair of your head shall in no wise perish. In your patience possess ye your souls. "But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, then know that her desolation has drawn near. Then let those in Judaea flee into the mountains; and let those in the midst of it depart; and let not those in the country enter therein; because these are days of vengeance, that all the things written may be fulfilled. Woe to the women with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress on the land, and wrath to this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by gentiles, until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled. And there will be signs in sun, and moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity for the roaring of the sea and billows; men fainting for fear and for expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then will they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud, with power and great glory. And, when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption is drawing near." But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand), then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; And let him who is on the house not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house; and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment. But woe to those with child and to those giving suck in those days! And pray that it be not in winter; for those days will be a time of tribulation, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be. And, unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but, for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
