He offered another illustration: The kingdom of heaven is similar to leaven. A woman hid leaven in three measures of meal until it was all leavened.

The servants of the householder said to him: 'Sir, did you sow good seed in your field? Why does it have weeds mixed in with the good wheat?'


He is able to exercise compassion towards the ignorant and those going astray, since he is also subject to weakness.


Now, O Israel, what does Jehovah your God require from you? You are to respect Jehovah your God. Walk in all his ways and love him! Serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your being.

Jehovah your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords! He is the great, the powerful, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.






For Jehovah your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you, until you all crossed over. As Jehovah your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we crossed over. That all the people of the earth might know the hand of Jehovah is mighty: that you might reverence Jehovah your God forever.















Be filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. (John 15:5) (Galatians 5:22, 23)


For the love of Christ compels us to judge, that one died for all and therefore all died. He died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him who died for their sakes and rose again.


I request (urge) (implore) you brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this world (religious, social, political, and economic arrangement). But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.


Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved (destroyed), what manner of persons should you be in all holy living and godliness?


What protest may a living man make? Can a man protest about the punishment for his sin?

I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him. He will plead my cause, and execute judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light and I will see his righteousness.


For God has stopped all disobedience so he might show mercy to all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments. His ways are beyond human understanding!


You have been in the right in everything that happened to us. You have been true to us, but we have done evil!













Watch therefore for you do not know when the lord of the house comes. It could be in the evening, at midnight or in the morning (when the cock crows). He could come suddenly and find you sleeping.




I will stand at my guard post at the tower on the wall. I will watch [and wait] to see what he will say to me and what I will answer when I am reproved.
