Jesus having said this, was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily I say unto you, one of you will betray me. Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. Now there was lying in the bosom of Jesus, one of the disciples whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoneth to him, to ask who it was of whom he spake. He then, leaning on the breast of Jesus, saith to him, Lord, who is it? Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the sop when I have dipped it. And having dipped the sop, he giveth it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop, then Satan entered into him.

Jesus saith to them, Have ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, is become the head of the corner? This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes. Therefore I say to you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
