In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and empty. Darkness covered the deep water. The Spirit of God hovered over the waters.

He spoke and it was done! He commanded and it stood fast.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah for they were created by his command. He set them in their places forever and ever. He made it a law that no one can break.

A large windstorm came to the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in danger. They awoke him saying: Master, Master, we parish! He asked them, Were is your faith? They were afraid and they marveled. They asked: Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?

There will be trouble for the multitude of people, because they will roar like the roar of the seas. Woe to the rushing of nations that makes a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! The nations will rush like the raging of many waters. But God will rebuke them and they will flee far away. They will be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, like a rolling dust before the whirlwind.

The three hundred blew the trumpets. Jehovah set every man's sword against his companions. They turned on each other throughout all the army. The army fled to Beth-shittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abel-meholah, to Tabbath.
