A Psalm of David. Do not fret yourself with evil doers; and do not be envious against the workers of iniquity.

Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up;

Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in carousings and drinking; not in co-habitation and lustful acts; not in strife and envy.

Let us not become glory-seeking, provoking one another, envying one another.

Do not be jealous of evil men, nor desire to be with them. For their heart studies ruin, and their lips talk of mischief.

Do not envy the cruel man, and choose none of his ways.

Do not let your heart envy sinners; but be in the fear of Jehovah all the day long.

Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envyings, and all evil speakings,

For you are yet carnal. For in that there is among you envyings and strife and divisions, are you not carnal, and do you not walk according to men?

I will speak with him mouth to mouth, even clearly, and not in dark speeches. And he shall behold the likeness of Jehovah. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses? And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against them, and He moved. And the cloud moved from the tabernacle. And behold! Miriam became leprous, as snow. And Aaron looked on Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your hearts, do not glory and lie against the truth.
