How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes saving health, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigns!
And he said unto them, I must announce the gospel of the kingdom of God to other cities also because for this am I sent.
And daily in the temple and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus the Christ.
But when they believed Philip preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they came into Antioch, spoke unto the Greeks, preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus.
And how shall they preach if they have not been sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those that announce the gospel of peace, of those that announce the gospel of that which is good!
being the minister of Jesus Christ, to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be well pleasing, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached the Christ unto them.
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God chose that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.
For though I preach the gospel, I have no reason to glory, for it is an obligation laid upon me; for woe is me, if I do not preach the gospel!
Moreover, brothers, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received and in which ye stand; by which also ye are being saved if ye retain the word that I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

And he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he who is ordained of God to be the Judge of living and dead. Unto him all the prophets give witness, that whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins through his name.
And again the next day John stood, and two of his disciples, and looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me; and ye also shall bear witness because ye have been with me from the beginning.
But ye shall receive the virtue of the Holy Spirit which shall come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This Jesus God has raised up, of whom we all are witnesses. Therefore being raised up by the right hand of God and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which ye now see and hear.
And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, declaring openly and proposing that it behooved the Christ to have suffered and risen again from the dead and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is the Christ.
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life (for the life is manifested, and we also saw it and bear witness and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father and appeared unto us); that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that ye also may have communion with us; and truly our communion is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye and believe the gospel.
Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this one is preached unto you the remission of sins; and in him all that believe are justified from all the things from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spoke unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.read more.
And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath and persuaded Jews and Greeks.
By whom we have received the grace and the apostleship, to cause the faith to be obeyed among all the Gentiles in his name,
Therefore, whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
Therefore being certain of that terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, departed unto Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. And when they arrived at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews, and they also had John as an attendant.
And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia
And a vision was shown to Paul in the night: There stood a man of Macedonia, asking him, saying, Come over into Macedonia and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel unto them.
After these things the Lord appointed another seventy also and sent them two by two before his face into every city and place where he himself would come.
And he called unto him the twelve and began to send them forth by two and two and gave them power over the unclean spirits
Then he called them in and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
And it came to pass in Iconium that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews and so spoke, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
Now passing through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia;
And then immediately the brethren sent Paul to go away towards the sea, but Silas and Timothy abode there still. And those that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens; and receiving an order from him unto Silas and Timothy to come unto him as soon as possible, they departed.
But watch thou in all things, labour, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry.
Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent, For I am with thee, and no one shall be able to hurt thee, for I have many people in this city. And he continued there a year and six months, teaching them the word of God.
And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all liberty, without hindrance.
Until I come, occupy thyself reading, exhorting, teaching. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which is given unto thee to prophesy, through the laying on of the hands of the elders.
Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For we are not as many, false merchandisers of the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world and more abundantly towards you.
For our exhortation was not of error nor of uncleanness nor in guile, but because we have been approved of God that he might entrust us with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts. For we were never flatterers in the word, as ye know, nor tainted with covetousness, God is witness,
loving you so much, that we were willing to give unto you, not only the gospel of God, but even our own souls, because ye are dear unto us. For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail, for labouring night and day, not to be a burden unto any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.
I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. Moreover, ye yourselves know that these hands have ministered unto my necessities and to those that were with me.
and labour, working with our own hands; being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it;
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more, in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often. Of the Jews five times I received forty stripes less one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned; three times I suffered shipwreck, night and day I have been in the deep;read more.
in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by those of my nation, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in labour and travail, in many watches, in hunger and thirst, in many fasts, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, my daily combat is the welfare of all the congregations . Who is sick, and I am not sick? who stumbles, and I burn not?
except that the Holy Spirit witnesses in every city, saying that prisons and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear unto myself, only that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Then the tribunal came near and took him and commanded him to be bound with two chains and demanded to know who he was and what he had done.
and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in this I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
And they agreed with him; and when they had called the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus and let them go.
And the multitude rose up together against them, and the magistrates rent off their clothes and commanded to beat them. And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely,
and casting him out of the city, they stoned him; and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
And certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he was dead.
and he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus and disputed against the Greeks; but they went about to slay him,
So that all the city was moved, and the people ran together; and they took Paul and drew him out of the temple, and immediately the doors were shut. And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the tribunal of the company that all Jerusalem was in an uproar
serving the Lord with all humility and with many tears and temptations, which have befallen me by the ambushes of the Jews,
but having suffered before and having been shamefully treated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to announce unto you the gospel of God with much diligence.
I say the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and continual pain in my heart.
