He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house. For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house.

When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.

When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

"Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we will not perish." He did right in the sight of the LORD according to all that his father Amaziah had done. He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God prospered him.

When the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was torn down, and the Asherah which was beside it was cut down, and the second bull was offered on the altar which had been built.

If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.

but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:

No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
