And, indeed, according to the law, almost all things are cleansed by blood; and without the shedding of blood there is no remission.

entered, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, once for all, into the most holy, having obtained eternal redemption. Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.
