After these things I saw, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands;

And he says to me, "You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings."

And some of the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations, look upon their corpses three days and a half; and they suffer not their corpses to be put into a tomb.

And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.

And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal Gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people;

And he says to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and no one of them is without signification. If, then, I know not the meaning of the voice, I will be to him who is speaking a barbarian; and he that is speaking, a barbarian to me.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, even as the Spirit was giving them to declare. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven; and, when this sound was heard, the multitude came together, and were greatly surprised, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. And they were amazed, and wondered, saying, "Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galilaeans? And how do we hear, each in our own language in which we were born; Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, in Judaea, and also Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Lybia about Cyrene, and sojourners from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans, and Arabians??e hear them speaking in our own languages the wonderful works of God?"

While Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those hearing the word. And those of the circumcision who believed, as many as came with Peter, were amazed, because that upon the gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit; for they heard them speaking with tongues, and magnifying God. "Can any one forbid the water, that these should not be immersed, who, indeed, received the Holy Spirit as well as we?" And He commanded that they should be immersed in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain some days.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with aloud voice, "ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI!" which is, being interpreted, "My God! My God! why didst Thou forsake Me!"

But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever says to his brother Raca shall be in danger of the high-council; and whosoever shall say, O foolish one! shall be in danger of the Hell of fire.

And, having taken hold of the child's hand, He saith to her, "Talitha cumi;" which is, being interpreted, "Damsel, (I say to you), arise."

and looking up to Heaven, He sighed, and saith to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened."

And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what Thou wilt."

For ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father."

If anyone loves not the Lord, let him be accursed, when the Lord cometh!

And, because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba," Father.

They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon; and, in the Greek, he has a name Apollyon.

And they gathered them into the place which is called in Hebrew Harmagedon.

This title, therefore, many of the Jews read; because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, in Greek.

And, when about to be led into the castle, Paul says to the chief captain, "May I say something to you?" And he said, "Do you know Greek? Are you not, then, the Egyptian who, before these days, caused a revolt, and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?" But Paul said, "I am a Jew, of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city; and I beseech you, permit me to speak to the people."
