And Jesus went out, and was going from the temple; and his disciples came to him, to show him the buildings of the temple. And he answering said to them, See ye not all these? Truly do I say to you, There will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, Teacher, see! what stones, and what buildings! And Jesus said to him, Seest thou these great buildings? There will not be left one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.

And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and sacred gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be throw down.

And evening having now come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath, Joseph of Arimathaea, an honorable councilor, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, came, and boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. And Pilate wondered that he was already dead; and calling to him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been long dead.read more.
And having been informed by the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. And having bought fine linen, he took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a tomb which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone to the door of the tomb.

And at evening there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who was himself also a disciple of Jesus. This man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given him. And Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,read more.
and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock, and having rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, went away.

And when the sabbath was past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb at the rising of the sun. And they said to one another, Who will roll away for us the stone from the door of the tomb?read more.
And looking up they see that the stone had been rolled back; for it was very large. And they entered the tomb, and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb; and on entering they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

Jesus therefore, again greatly moved within himself, cometh to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus saith, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith to him, Lord, by this time the body is offensive; for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith to her, Did I not tell thee, that if thou wouldst believe, thou shouldst see the glory of God?read more.
They therefore took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! I thank thee that thou hast heard me. Yet I knew that thou hearest me always; but for the sake of the multitude standing around I said it, that they might believe that thou didst send me. And having thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth! He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith to them, Loose him, and let him go.

But on the first day of the week Mary the Magdalene cometh early, while it was yet dark, to the tomb, and seeth that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

And on the third day there was a marriagefeast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the feast. And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.read more.
Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come. His mother saith to the servants, Whatever he saith to you, do it. Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, in conformity with the Jews custom of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it. But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.

and after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the holy of holies, which had the golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on every side with gold, wherein was the golden pot containing the manna, and the rod of Aaron which budded, and the tables of the covenant;

Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Deity is like to gold or silver or stone, graven by the art and device of man.

And the rest of men, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which can neither see; nor hear, nor walk;
