'Again' in the Bible
Again, the Devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
“Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a large net thrown into the sea. It collected every kind of fish,
Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
About noon and at three, he went out again and did the same thing.
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He went up to it and found nothing on it except leaves. And He said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” At once the fig tree withered.
Again, he sent other slaves, more than the first group, and they did the same to them.
Again, he sent out other slaves, and said, ‘Tell those who are invited: Look, I’ve prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
For I tell you, you will never see Me again until you say, ‘He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One’!”
For at that time there will be great tribulation, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again!
Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, Your will be done.”
And He came again and found them sleeping, because they could not keep their eyes open.
After leaving them, He went away again and prayed a third time, saying the same thing once more.
And again he denied it with an oath, “I don’t know the man!”
Jesus shouted again with a loud voice and gave up His spirit.
and said, “Sir, we remember that while this deceiver was still alive He said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
When He entered Capernaum again after some days, it was reported that He was at home.
Then Jesus went out again beside the sea. The whole crowd was coming to Him, and He taught them.
Now He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a paralyzed hand.
Then He went home, and the crowd gathered again so that they were not even able to eat.
Again He began to teach by the sea, and a very large crowd gathered around Him. So He got into a boat on the sea and sat down, while the whole crowd was on the shore facing the sea.
When Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him while He was by the sea.
Summoning the crowd again, He told them, “Listen to Me, all of you, and understand:
Again, leaving the region of Tyre, He went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of the Decapolis.
In those days there was again a large crowd, and they had nothing to eat. He summoned the disciples and said to them,
Then He left them, got on board the boat again, and went to the other side.
Again Jesus placed His hands on the man’s eyes, and he saw distinctly. He was cured and could see everything clearly.
“But you,” He asked them again, “who do you say that I am?”Peter answered Him, “You are the Messiah!”
When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly coming together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: come out of him and never enter him again!”
He set out from there and went to the region of Judea and across the Jordan. Then crowds converged on Him again and, as He usually did, He began teaching them once more.
Now in the house the disciples questioned Him again about this matter.
But the disciples were astonished at His words. Again Jesus said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them. They were astonished, but those who followed Him were afraid. Taking the Twelve aside again, He began to tell them the things that would happen to Him.
He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples heard it.
They came again to Jerusalem. As He was walking in the temple complex, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came
Again he sent another slave to them, and they hit him on the head and treated him shamefully.
For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again!
Once again He went away and prayed, saying the same thing.
And He came again and found them sleeping, because they could not keep their eyes open. They did not know what to say to Him.
But He kept silent and did not answer anything. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
When the servant saw him again she began to tell those standing nearby, “This man is one of them!”
But again he denied it. After a little while those standing there said to Peter again, “You certainly are one of them, since you’re also a Galilean!”
Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Are You not answering anything? Look how many things they are accusing You of!”
Pilate asked them again, “Then what do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”
Again He said, “What can I compare the kingdom of God to?
because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.
But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again,
Again the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples.
Jesus replied, “I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.
Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks from this water will get thirsty again.
But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again—ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life.”
Then He went again to Cana of Galilee, where He had turned the water into wine. There was a certain royal official whose son was ill at Capernaum.
Therefore, when Jesus knew that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He withdrew again to the mountain by Himself.
“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again.
At dawn He went to the temple complex again, and all the people were coming to Him. He sat down and began to teach them.
Then He stooped down again and continued writing on the ground.
Then Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”
Then He said to them again, “I’m going away; you will look for Me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”
So the Jews said again, “He won’t kill Himself, will He, since He says, ‘Where I’m going, you cannot come’?”
So again the Pharisees asked him how he received his sight.“He put mud on my eyes,” he told them. “I washed and I can see.”
Again they asked the blind man, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?”“He’s a prophet,” he said.
“I already told you,” he said, “and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t want to become His disciples too, do you?”
So Jesus said again, “I assure you: I am the door of the sheep.
This is why the Father loves Me, because I am laying down My life so I may take it up again.
No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the right to lay it down, and I have the right to take it up again. I have received this command from My Father.”
Again a division took place among the Jews because of these words.
Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone Him.
Then they were trying again to seize Him, yet He eluded their grasp.
So He departed again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing earlier, and He remained there.
Then after that, He said to the disciples, “Let’s go to Judea again.”
“Rabbi,” the disciples told Him, “just now the Jews tried to stone You, and You’re going there again?”
“Your brother will rise again,” Jesus told her.
Martha said, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Then Jesus, angry in Himself again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.
Father, glorify Your name!”Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!”
When Jesus had washed their feet and put on His robe, He reclined again and said to them, “Do you know what I have done for you?
“A little while and you will no longer see Me; again a little while and you will see Me.”
Therefore some of His disciples said to one another, “What is this He tells us: ‘A little while and you will not see Me; again a little while and you will see Me’; and, ‘because I am going to the Father’?”
Jesus knew they wanted to question Him, so He said to them, “Are you asking one another about what I said, ‘A little while and you will not see Me; again a little while and you will see Me’?
So you also have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will rob you of your joy.
I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”
Then He asked them again, “Who is it you’re looking for?”“Jesus the Nazarene,” they said.
Peter then denied it again. Immediately a rooster crowed.
“What is truth?” said Pilate. After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, “I find no grounds for charging Him.
Pilate went outside again and said to them, “Look, I’m bringing Him outside to you to let you know I find no grounds for charging Him.”
Then the disciples went home again.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
After eight days His disciples were indoors again, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said, “Peace to you!”
After this, Jesus revealed Himself again to His disciples by the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed Himself in this way:
However, so this does not spread any further among the people, let’s threaten them against speaking to anyone in this name again.”
Again, a second time, a voice said to him, “What God has made clean, you must not call common.”
“Now this happened three times, and then everything was drawn up again into heaven.
After these things I will returnand rebuild David’s fallen tent.I will rebuild its ruinsand set it up again,
