'Know' in the Bible

(Let me be weighed in an even balance, That God may know mine integrity);

For I know not to give flattering titles; Else would my Maker soon take me away.

My words'shall utter the uprightness of my heart; And that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.

Let us choose for us that which is right: Let us know among ourselves what is good.

He sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may know it .

Dost thou know how God layeth his charge upon them, And causeth the lightning of his cloud to shine?

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days began , And caused the dayspring to know its place;

Put them in fear, O Jehovah: Let the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah

Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand.

Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine.

Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me.

Consume them in wrath, consume them, so that they shall be no more: And let them know that God ruleth in Jacob, Unto the ends of the earth. Selah

My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, And of thy salvation all the day; For I know not the numbers thereof .

And they say, How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

When I thought how I might know this, It was too painful for me;

That the generation to come might know them , even the children that should be born; Who should arise and tell them to their children,

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know me: Behold, Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This one was born there.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: They walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.

A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.

That they may know that this is thy hand; That thou, Jehovah, hast done it.

I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

Let those that fear thee turn unto me; And they shall know thy testimonies.

For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; But the mouth of the wicked'speaketh perverseness.

To make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, That thou mayest carry back words of truth to them that send thee?

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew not this; Doth not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his work?

So shalt thou know wisdom to be unto thy soul; If thou hast found it, then shall there be a reward, And thy hope shall not be cut off.

Go not forth hastily to strive, Lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, When thy neighbor hath put thee to shame.

There are three things which are too wonderful for me, Yea, four which I know not:

And I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also was a striving after wind.

I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live.

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God hath done it, that men should fear before him.

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth, and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thy heart, and in the sight of thine eyes; but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, Go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, And feed thy kids beside the shepherds tents.

that say, Let him make speed, let him hasten his work, that we may see it; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land whose two kings thou abhorrest shall be forsaken.

And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in pride and in stoutness of heart,

Where then are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now; and let them know what Jehovah of hosts hath purposed concerning Egypt.

And Jehovah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Jehovah in that day; yea, they shall worship with sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow a vow unto Jehovah, and shall perform it.

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Jehovah, even thou only.

But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me.

that they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of Jehovah hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

Let them bring forth, and declare unto us what shall happen: declare ye the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.

Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

Who hath declared it from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is right? yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that showeth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.

Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not declared unto thee of old, and showed it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.

They that fashion a graven image are all of them vanity; and the things that they delight in shall not profit; and their own witnesses see not, nor know: that they may be put to shame.

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that it is I, Jehovah, who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel.

that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me: I am Jehovah, and there is none else.

Now therefore hear this, thou that art given to pleasures, that sittest securely, that sayest in thy heart, I am, and there is none else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know the dawning thereof: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it away: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou knowest not.

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah; and they that wait for me shall not be put to shame.

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye dismayed at their revilings.

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, it is I.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near unto God.

The way of peace they know not; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whosoever goeth therein doth not know peace.

For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:
